I have been to this dealer for service on an Acura even though I didn't make original purchase from this dealer, and they did an excellent job on my service. I took in my 2003 TL to Norris Acura in Elliott City, MD. I drive 60 miles to the dealership because have they have the highest customer rating but never again. The service department ran a diagnostic on my car headlight and informed me it was only the bulb that needed replacement. I had two other bulbs to be replaced and the bill was $493. I left the dealership without looking at the light. I was unable to see the reflection in the car in front of me so I pull over the check and found it not to be burning. I had driven 20 miles. I returned right away to be told all three components of the light were bad: inverter, igniter and bulb. My first question was what happened with that original diagnostic that I paid for? Parts were to cost me $1200 plus labor. I declined the work and insisted I be refunded the $200 for the first bulb and labor. They agreed. Before arriving home that night, my lights began flashing and there was clicking inside the car. I had never experienced any issues with the electrical system of the car. When I arrived home, I found they had pried the back cover off the light and improperly removed the bumper breaking much of the top of the bumper. I tried to contact the General Manager the next day and was offered his email address. When I contacted Acura Headquarters, I was told the bumper did not have to be removed and not sure why they did but it was between me and the dealership. I was called as part of a routine survey to ask about my service and when I told them of my experience, they informed me they would notify all parties involved and get back with me. I have yet to hear anything back. The service was friendly but I wanted my car fixed. I paid $200 to have a flood light and a side light replaced. They completely destroyed the headlight and caused an electric short. I will never use them again or buy another Acura. More
Rob was particularly helpful when I brought my 2010 TSX in for service on the breaks at 25k miles. I always recommend Norris for Acuras as this is my 2nd Norris Acura and I continue to have great experien in for service on the breaks at 25k miles. Own an Acura '03 TL with around 150K miles on it, got the brakes and power steering rack replaced a couple of weeks back, and the next week the transmission went bad and needed replacement. Jeremy in Norris Acura Service Department talked to Acura and managed to work on bringing down the cost. He did an excellent job and kept us well informed about our options. We were seriously debating about putting any additional money on the car. It is a risky gamble but we did take it. The whole reason for buying a premium car came into question but buying a new car wasn't an option so went ahead with the repairs. Hoping it will work out well for us down the road and that our investment on the repairs to the car will pay off. Thank You Jeremy for your professional support during this difficult time. My Acura 2006 TL was due for an A12 service. I contacted a couple dealerships and Norris gave me the best price estimate. Jeremy explained what the A12 service entailed and also asked if I had the power st a couple dealerships and Norris gave me the best price estimate. Jeremy explained what the A12 service entailed and also asked if I had the power steering recall service performed yet. He was very professional and polite on the phone. I brought my car in on a Friday morning 9:30am to have the service performed. The complete service was finished within an hour and a half, much less time than I had anticipated. My car was also washed during the visit. Jeremy also suggested that I should soon replace two tires where the tread was worn down. He provided the model tire recommended for my vehicle and gave a price estimate of what that service would cost. Norris Acura West is about 40 minutes from my house, and I have other Acura dealerships much closer to me. I had a bad experience at one of the other "closer" dealerships, so I decided to try Norris a couple years ago. I have been taking my car to them since. I have worked with a few service advisors at Norris over the years and all have provided top-notch customer service. That's why I keep coming back. More

He was straight-up with me and let me have time to think and make a big decision comfortably. It was for that reason I bought the car from him and I always recommend this dealership in particular to any friends looking to buy a new car. From the service end of things, I also have nothing but good things to say. Yes they are friendly and courteous, but even more importantly they do great work! I've come in for a few oil changes so far and an issue with a mirror and the display. Every time I come in they get the job done efficiently and make sure to explain what was going on every time. Of course, it's all been covered under the warranty and they've seamlessly taken care of that every time as well. Keep up the great work Norris Acura! More
I took my TL 2011 Acura for a problem with the Airbag system. Jeff was extremely helpful, professional and explicit on the details.
