Bait and Switch I was looking for a new MDX and spent a good bit of time with this dealer, including a test drive. At the end of the day the salesman presented me wi I was looking for a new MDX and spent a good bit of time with this dealer, including a test drive. At the end of the day the salesman presented me with a car and a price. He went to the manager to verify the deal. We shook hands and I left him a cc deposit. When I returned the next day the price had changed. This was not an error, it was deception. The manager had already approved the deal! I retrieved my deposit and bought something other than an Acura. To make matters worse, this is not just a dealer problem, but apparently a Norris problem. I had the same issue with Norris Ford. The manager gave me a price, I was writing a contract with the salesman, and then the manager reneges on his quote. Norris is just a bunch of crooks. More

I did visit Norris for a test drive of the TLX, just to see what was new compared to my old TL. Paul was very knowledgeable about the car and a pleasure to deal with. No pressure, just let me take the car for a drive. He gave me a price and I said I'd be back after checking with 2 other dealers I was communicating with. Paul and James worked out a great deal so I was back the next day. I was in and out in an hour. I have never completed an auto purchase that quickly. I would highly recommend this dealership, especially Paul and James, to anyone looking for an Acura. And if you're not looking for an Acura, you should be! More

However, I wanted to share my experience with you all because I know how challenging it can be to purchase a car. I had a 2002 Acura MDX I brought from this dealership used back in 2009. It was great and I had no intention of letting it go...until I was hit in an accident and the insurance company said the car was a total loss. This put me on the journey of looking for another car. Nothing could pull me away from wanting another Acura, but I really did a lot of looking around for the different packages, features, pricing, etc. I test drove MDX's at various non-Acura dealerships in MD and VA and there just seemed to be problems at every turn. Why go to a non-Acura dealership? Simply because the prices were better. Unfortunately, after several conversations with many of the salesmen at the dealerships, it was clear they did not truly value the product nor how to sell it. I had to show one of them how to work several of the features on the car myself smh. Then there were problems with each of their vehicles. The adage it true...you get what you pay for. Thus, I began to look at only Acura dealers for my next purchase. Yes, the price would be higher, but the quality of the vehicle, along with the peace of mind knowing qualified personnel would address the needs of the car definitely won out. I reached out Donnell Newton, the same salesman who sold me my 2002 MDX. The car drove well, no major issues, exactly what I expected. Donnell worked with me on the price and we got it done very quickly. I mean it was so quick and easy I was kind of mad I didn't just come back here in the first place. Lesson learned :). Plus, they didn't put on those ridiculous reconditioning/delivery/blah blah blah fees that you see for used cars at some of these dealerships. I cannot tell you how irritated it made me to see that thing on some of the vehicles I looked at before coming back to Norris. The price cheaper than any other Acura dealers I saw, Donnell took care of me just like before, and the paperwork was a breeze. No hidden fees, no fluff. Easy Peasy! And for what it is worth I used the same reviews on this site to evaluate the dealerships I chose to engage with, so I know how useful these can be. If you are looking for an Acura, don't hesitate to look up Donnell. More

From start to finish, Paul went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had in an extremely timely manner. He was transparent in regard to pricing from the very beginning and made the experience as enjoyable as a car-buying experience could be. He was attentive and proactive, but not in a way where we ever felt pressured or outside of our comfort zone. It is absolutely clear that they have a team that cares about their customers. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new Acura! More

Worst experience First, the sales only gave us one key of the car. I had to go back to ask the other one.
