Thank you Rhomel for sharing of your recent service experience with our dealership. We appreciate you allowing our team an opportunity to serve your Acura maintenance needs. Our dealership is committed to providing each guest a great service experience, however, it appears that your recent visits were less than perfect. Your feedback was shared with our management team and we used this situation to review our processes. They were already aware of your concerns. We take every opportunity as an chance to learn and improve where possible because we are committed to provide a better shopping experience for our guests every day. Our records indicate that there was a service visit on 8/14 with a request to replace the engine oil, brake fluid and power steering flush. There was a return visit on 8/26 with some concern about the power steering fluid service and our service manager had your Acura TSX put up on the rack to inspect for leaks. While there, he pointed out that there were no visible leaks but discovered that the tie rod end boots were filled with power steering fluid. This indicated that the power steering rack end seals were leaking and not a result of the previous fluid flush. With the understanding that the remedy would require replacement of the power steering rack, we provided two options, one using a factory replacement part or an aftermarket refurbished part. (note - all available aftermarket power steering racks for the TSX are remanufactured) With the total costs provided including the required wheel alignment, it was decided to replace the power steering rack with the aftermarket one as it was at a lower overall cost. Since the part is aftermarket and at times limited availability, we explained there was an initial delay from the supplier. After the power steering rack was replaced it appeared that the repair was remedied. To both our surprise, the remanufactured power steering rack seals failed and brought back for us to replace it under the aftermarket parts warranty on 9/11 with no additional costs. This included the performing required wheel alignment again since this is a steering component. It appears that our dealership is unable to meet your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience but acknowledge all service facilities set their own pricing and not the same across the board. We offered to install genuine Acura parts, covered by the manufacturer's parts warranty but provided a second choice as a lower cost option, not as a means to provide a frustrating experience. Other than the comparative costs, was there something that we done that resulted in such a low satisfaction rating? Our goal is for all of our guests to have an excellent experience and we apologize that we could not meet your expectations but we would still like to assist.
