I bought the 2014 SUV Acura RDX AWD with tech package about a week and half ago at Acura of Brooklyn. I was greatly satisfied with the overall experience including the sales associates - Martin and Peyt about a week and half ago at Acura of Brooklyn. I was greatly satisfied with the overall experience including the sales associates - Martin and Peyton, after which the product specialist Wendy and Heather gave me a patient and detail demo of the great functions and features of my purchase. I must also give a kudos to the SMART payment program I was introduced to (I understood Wendy is the brainchild behind this) which now allows me to complete overall payment payoff time by 7 months vs the original payoff time. ? I would never come back to Acura of Brooklyn or Plaza Auto Mall for any business and definitely would not recommend this dealership to anybody. It is also give any automaker a rally bad reputation to any Auto Mall for any business and definitely would not recommend this dealership to anybody. I cannot express how extremely disappointed I am with the entire process at Acura of Brooklyn, where my car wasn't fixed or serviced properly and the Service department was trying to charge me $120 for nothing. I am the owner of Certified 2011 Acura MDX with additional Acura Care warranty. About few weeks ago my right rear door lock stopped working and I went to the nearest Acura Service department which is Acura of Brooklyn. I received a phone call from the Service Center and to my utmost surprise I was told that my repairs would not be covered by the warranty and furthermore a part of my warranty that covers electronic repairs would be voided. I was told that the previous owner which is Acura dealership installed the aftermarket remote start engine and the installation of the aftermarket products voids the warranty. I spoke with DCH Montrlair and they say that Acura of Brooklyn have no right not to fix my car without warranty, however, DCH told me that they would fix it under my rightful car warranty. Now, I have to drive to another state for hour and a half one way spend my money on multiple toll charges and do it within working week and loss my wages for the the day. Anyway, I would not think that if I would buy luxury car such as Acura MDX for $45K would make me go through this trouble. How is it possible that Acura dealership certifies the car with aftermarket products installed by the dealer plus pushing me to buy extra Acura Care warranty at the time of purchase if they knew that it voids the warranty on future repairs? More
I made the best car buying decision on August 5, 2013. That morning, I was about to purchase a vehicle from a different dealership, but I was contacted by a woman named Jasmine for the second time; I had That morning, I was about to purchase a vehicle from a different dealership, but I was contacted by a woman named Jasmine for the second time; I had an appointment with the Toyota dealership, which Jasmine was calling from. But, before I could get to the Toyota dealer, I was talked into another deal by a pushy salesmam from Premier Ford, which made me miss my appointment, Jasmine recieved my application online a day before my shopping experience at Ford. The day after, I missed my appointment, Jasmine called me again I told her I wasn't interested in a Toyota anymore, I was really considering an Acura, which was my first desire. She told me, if I went into the Acura dealership located on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn NY, she can gurantee I will receive a better deal. Jasmine said I will call Lou (The Manager) and let him know that you are going to stop by. She was right! Thanks Jasmine! When I walked in the dealership, I was greated with respect and kindness. Lou asked Kyle Holmes to take care of me and to let him know what I decide. I had the best shopping experience ever! Kyle is an amazing salesman, he really understands the meaning of customer service. He did not pressure me into any decisions, he did not try to force me into any vehicle, he simply let me shop and answer my questions. Once he saw the vehicle I was interested in.... well, lets just say he nearly forced me to test drive it, and I did! The test drive was amazing! I left in a matter of hours with a 2013 Acura TL SH AWD with the Tech package.
