B12 and splash gard replacement all went well. Per usual going into a dealership is a bit more expensive. BUT service here is very fast and they get things done in a timely manner. A all went well. Pathetic experience with Excessive Oil Consumption recall Acura of Brookfield may be awesome. Not sure about Acura. Last year Acura initiated Excessive Oil Consumption recall. My TL requires an additional qua Acura of Brookfield may be awesome. Not sure about Acura. Last year Acura initiated Excessive Oil Consumption recall. My TL requires an additional quart of oil every 1500 miles or so. After bothersome testing, when I was required to bring my car to dealership every 1000 miles, the problem was confirmed. My "luxury" car is burning oil like a diesel excavator. I was told that the queue is long and it may take a few months, likely until January of 2020. On my last visit, I was informed that the dealership receives only 3 to 4 kits per week and my turn would come in 2021 (My position in the queue is 205)! In meantime, I will have to carefully monitor oil level, add additional oil, damage my catalytic filter and pollute the environment. Way to go, Acura! More
