Best dealership ever I've posted reviews for Brookfield before. I will continue to do so. That's because similar to what another review said, it's hard to believe that an honest, charge less rather than more Acura dealership exists. Almost sounds like a fantasy;-) I live in Chicago, bought my first car from Brookfield 13 years ago, and continue to return as I'm on my third Acura. Service is exceptional, I usually work with Colin, who knows what it means to give personalized attention & get things done. They charge by the book for what a job costs & their techs get it done in that time, instead of maximizing time & charging for every minute, as I've had happen every time I go to an Acura dealership in the Chicagoland area. It's paid for the gas/travel time to Wisconsin many times over through the years. Nick, the head technician at the dealership, almost always works on my cars & does excellent, top-notch work. I never have issues after leaving the dealership. I'm moving out West in a few months & am terrified at how badly I'm going to get jacked at local dealerships. When the car needs major work (clutch, transmission, etc) I will probably bring it back to Brookfield to have it done, even at extra cost. That's how much I trust their integrity & quality of service. John has also been an invaluable source of information & guidance regarding aftermarket upgrades for my car. It's been truly inspirational to be a customer of theirs. I will miss you guys!:-) More

Acura of Brookfield is a refreshing exception to this. I have been dealing with other automobile manufacturers and dealerships for over thirty years, and this is the first time I felt motivated to give anyone a positive review. The story below goes into a little detail of how well I was treated. I went to Acura of Brookfield fully expecting to pay for a repair that was the result of an obvious design problem with my car. (On-line research indicated that the problem I was experiencing was also being experienced by others. It was a minor trim related problem, mechanically the car has been solid, as you might expect from Acura.) When I checked in, I got the typical “we’ll take a look at for you” from the service representative. I didn’t say anything about knowing that this was a design problem, figuring that it wouldn’t help anyway, and it wasn’t the service representative’s fault so why yell at him. After only a few minutes the service representative came over to give me the damages (like I said, I expected to pay for the repair). He told me they had the part in stock and could do the repair while I waited. And, that because they have seen a pattern of my model car with this issue, they would be doing the repair for free. (My only complaint is how hard their floor is because I fell out of my chair.) Are you kidding me? Someone in this day and age putting their money where their mouth is? It would have been easy to tell me how sorry they were, but because the car is out of warranty it was going to cost me to get it fixed. They could have offered me a bottle of water, apologized again and been like the rest of the friendly distributors who don’t stand behind their products. Acura of Brookfield was not only friendly, they did the right thing for their customer. Why can’t every car dealer behave like Acura of Brookfield? More
Best car buying experience ever! I worked with Matt in online sales who hooked up a great price on my new Acura TLX and then paired me and wife with sales consultant Mike Brumfield. M I worked with Matt in online sales who hooked up a great price on my new Acura TLX and then paired me and wife with sales consultant Mike Brumfield. Mike was great, friendly and knowledgeable. We drive the vehicle and did the appraisal on our trade in the dealership but then everything else was handled online. It was amazing to have everyone emailing and taking care of everything rather than sitting in the dealership for a long time (their dealership is beautiful so no negative points on that). We came back in on Saturday, got the confirmation on trade allowance and signed docs with Sue Klein. Mike then took us to the car that was in the showroom bay with a dozen roses sitting on the windshield. What?!?! Who does that anymore? Completely blown away on the presentation. Mike showed us the adjustments on the personal settings and we were off. All within an hour at the most. Nice job everyone- you've got an Acura buyer for life now. Considering I sold cars for 3 years out of college and have bought 5 cars of my own since, I know a diamond when I see it. This dealership is something special. More

I have never received friendlier service from any dealer. I used to bring my old 1990 Acura Integra in for servicing here when I was in college a few years ago and they treated me with hospitality and respe I used to bring my old 1990 Acura Integra in for servicing here when I was in college a few years ago and they treated me with hospitality and respect as if I were 50 years old pulling up in an RL. The service is very friendly and helpful. In all the years I went there (about four) The service department made only one mistake, which was not securing the plastic splash guard under the front suspension after servicing, and it came loose while driving home. I drove back and they replaced it for free without argument or dirty looks. The parts department was extremely helpful and friendly as well. I definitely recommend this dealer for servicing and parts. More
