I was extremely impressed with Acura of Boston throughout my new car purchase. I had contacted several Acura dealerships within the area for pricing information on a new car, and received the best price fro my new car purchase. I had contacted several Acura dealerships within the area for pricing information on a new car, and received the best price from Acura of Boston. Furthermore, the sales staff was extremely cordial and receptive to me when I visited the dealership. I never felt pressured at any time. My sales representative knew every little detail about my car, and even contacted me on his day off in order to notify me that my car was ready for pickup! This was definitely beyond my expectations. I wish all dealerships operated as professionally and smoothly as Acura of Boston. I give this dealership my highest recommendation and will most definitely return to them for my future car purchases. More
Zack was a professional from the beginning to the end. He answered every question I had before and after the sale. I think it's admirable for a salesperson to care about you after the sale has been made just answered every question I had before and after the sale. If I had a question Zack didn't know he didn't try to bullshit me, he instead went to the appropriate peopl;e where he could get the correct answer. Trust me I had him running around with a lot of questions. I found everyone at accura of Boston to be very helpful. I guess if I had any complaints it's with all the guys standing at the managers desk talking bad about a salesman that wasn't in that day. I really thought that was inappropriate. Other than that all the people were very friendly and helpful. More
From our first visit when we weren't quite sure what we wanted, the knowledgeable salesperson answered all of our questions about various models and didn't try to steer or pressure us at all. We came back wanted, the knowledgeable salesperson answered all of our questions about various models and didn't try to steer or pressure us at all. We came back again when we had decided and he was attentive and present throughout the whole buying process. We were treated with the utmost respect during the negotiation process and felt like we paid a fair price. We absolutely love the car and had a great experience at Bernardi and speak very highly about the dealership to friends. More

After walking out of another Acura dealership yesterday (they refused to budge on price, and played games), I visited Acura of Boston today and car. Brian & Mark are professional, and straight forward. They showed me the dealer cost, and added a small profit for them (as they should). They also gave me a very fair price for my trade in, which compared well to Kelly Blue Book estimates. More
I have an Acura TL, which I purchased from Acura of Boston. I was happy with the car and the service that I received from the service department. As I am getting close to exceeding the mileage on my lease, I decided to look into buying a new Acura. We looked at several models this weekend and were given pricing that included an offer to payoff the rest of my lease. We had to ask our sales guy four times to get us pricing, and we had to ask him very directly. We also had to remind him that we wanted to test drive the MDX after test driving the RDX. It was like he did not have time to show us both cars. Anyway, we initially thought their pricing was competitive, but after doing research, we felt we could do better. However, we had to call multiple times to discuss the quote. No one called us back. In the meantime we got more competitive pricing from other dealers. Acura of Boston finally called us back and offered us a decent price. Since we had a positive experience with them when we leased my TL, we decided to buy the car from them and drove into the dealership to complete the deal (per the sales manager's instruction). We had to wait over an hour once we got there, even though the sales manager told us to come in. When we finally discussed the deal with the sales manager, he was provoked that we had a lease and acted like it was our fault for not telling him, even though we discussed the lease and had the car appraised through his colleague, the other sales manager and the sales guy we worked with. The left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing. Ultimately, this sales manager would not honor the commitment that the other sales manager made to pay out the rest of the lease with the pricing that we had agreed to with him. He wanted us to cover half of the remainder of the lease. He also told us that the car was not even leased from Acura of Boston when it was. Even though we spent about 2 and a half hours waiting for these guys to get their act together, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Between the phone calls that were not returned, the lack of attention when we arrived to work out the deal, and the disconnect between various members of the sales team, it was clear to us that they had met their quota for the month and that our business was not important to them. We will not be going to this dealership for sales or service in the future. In fact, we are now considering purchasing a car other than an Acura, which we initially had no intention of doing. If you want a typical, slimy, car dealership experience, I would go to this dealership, otherwise look elsewhere. There are plenty of options in the greater Boston area. UPDATE: I WANTED TO UPDATE THIS REVIEW, AS THE DEALER DID ATTEMPT TO FIX THE SITUATION. BOTH THE SALES MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER CALLED ME. THE SALES MANAGER OFFERED ME THE PRICING WE WERE INITIALLY PROMISED OR A GOOD DEAL ON THE MDX. WE ENDED UP GETTING A BETTER DEAL FROM ANOTHER DEALER, SO WE DECIDED NOT TO PURCHASE FROM ACURA OF BOSTON DUE TO THE BETTER PRICING FROM THE OTHER DEALER AND THE INITIAL NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. THE GENERAL MANAGER ALSO CALLED ME TO FOLLOW-UP AND OFFERED ME A SERVICE CREDIT. THE SALES MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER WERE BOTH VERY APOLOGETIC, AND I APPRECIATE THEIR EFFORTS TO MAKE THIS SITUATION BETTER. IT WAS JUST HARD TO GIVE ACURA OF BOSTON OUR BUSINESS AFTER OUR INITIAL EXPERIENCE. More

I stopped by the dealership on December 31st -- realizing that it was one of their busiest days. I was greeted by the sales staff and the process of test driving and working through the pricing/paperwork fo that it was one of their busiest days. I was greeted by the sales staff and the process of test driving and working through the pricing/paperwork for my MDX was efficient. Niso and Enrique were great to work with and Bernardi had a large selection of MDX's in inventory to choose from. I had my two young daughters with me and they expedited us through the paperwork -- as my daughters' attention span was limited. I was also impressed that Enrique and a fellow Bernardi employee helped me out by delivering my MDX to my house. More
