Second vehicle purchase This was my second vehicle purchased from this dealership. My first was for an RDX which I loved but then I stepped up to an MDX. I personally had not been in a car dealership in ten years. My previous experiences had been high pressure sales. I must admit I was reluctant to enter the showroom. We were greeted by Ricky Williams. He was so friendly and accommodating. He was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. After test driving the RDX for the first time, Ricky took the time to demonstrate the exquisite features of this vehicle. We were so impressed with him. I knew if I were going to buy an Acura , I wanted him to be my salesperson. We decided to do a little more research on a few other SUVs. Ricky kept in touch with me an answered any questions I had in the most personal and professional manner. On our second visit, we test drove the RDX again and made our first Acura purchase. My experience at Acura of Baton Rouge with Jamie Smith was not only painless, but am still excited over our purchase. There was no haggling. The price was straight forward and very reasonable. Financing was a again easy with no surprises. I would recommend this dealership to everyone.. We live in Gulfport, MS, about 150 miles away but still choose Acura of Baton Rouge over the other 2 that were closer. The salesman primarily responsible for this sale/purchase was Ricky Williams. I have worked with many a car salesman in my life. Ricky ranks right at the top with a quiet, confident manner - a real pro. You guys are lucky I am not hiring at present - Ricky would be working for me pretty soon! Hang on to him - he's a keeper. The finance manager and sales manager also were extremely professional and courteous. There was exceptional cooperation in making an in and out trade to an employee of mine. I appreciate this very much. Having used your service department before, I look forward to that experience again. The service department is a HUGE reason why I am back at this dealership. Excellent Service Prices I purchased my 2007 Acura TL Type S from Acura of Baton Rouge a few months ago. As I live in Mandeville and work in Metairie, going to Baton Rouge w I purchased my 2007 Acura TL Type S from Acura of Baton Rouge a few months ago. As I live in Mandeville and work in Metairie, going to Baton Rouge was a bit of a drive, I was entitled to a complimentary tire rotation and oil change as a result of my purchase from the dealership. While I was there, the service adviser stated there were several upcoming things that needed attention (timing belt service and transmission fluid service), but the rear brake pads were coming very close to needing to be replaced and the cost for the service was going to be $188. Without directly naming the other Acura dealer, I called the other Acura dealer who was a closer and more convenient to me to check the price for their rear brake service and that cost was $288. I had Baton Rouge Acura do the brake service. The cost to do my timing belt was $960 and the cost for the transmission fluid service was $99. With my curiosity peaked, I called the other said Acura dealership who wanted $1,250 to do the timing belt and $153 to do the transmission fluid. Once it comes time for the timing belt and transmission to be done, I will surely be returning to Baton Rouge Acura for my service needs as they are very reasonable in price for a dealership. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating as well. More
