My wife and I were searching for a used Toyota 4Runner to replace our aging Chrysler. After much research Toyota has the long term quality we need. We focused on the 2003 4Runner with 13K miles on it and it was perfect with some minor things that needed to be corrected before we accepted it. Steve not only corrected them but made sure it was to his liking which happened to be to our higher quality standards. The money we work so hard for shuold purchase a vehical that comes represented with the same apporach to quality! Customer satisfaction is not an option when spending large sums of hard earned money. Steve represetned Acton Toyota extremely well and Toyota very well! We will consider future Toyota vehicles from Steve and Acton Toyota. Very refreshing!!! Excellent experience with the Internet sale person, Wellington. Acton had lowest price of the dealers from whom I requested a quote (~27,700 for a base 4x4 highlander with upgrade stereo, manual rear Wellington. The Internet department is operated in a separate building from the showroom. I was a pleasure *not* having to visit the show room and deal with pushy sales people. All pricing was done via email and a final phone call. I cannot say the same for other Internet sales for other local dealerships who did a bait and switch on me. I had 2 visits to the Internet dept. One was to place the purchase order and look over the car and the second was to pick up the car. I had planned on financing though DCU who had given me a good quote on a 60 month loan. Acton's financing through Toyota beat the quote by .75 percent! The price included destination charges and floor mats and a full tank of gas! I added an aftermarket moon roof. This delayed deliver by only 2 business days. Wellington handled this entirely for me and the moon roof is great. I would buy again from Acton Toyota and Wellington and I have already recommended him verbally to 3 people. Wellington is a great, personable guy, absolute no xx or attitude! A strait arrow. Just straightforward answers to questions. He never tried to push me into any upgrades and we spoke frankly realistically comparing Toyota's to other car manufacturers. Overall a great experience! Overall pretty nice. Offered a completive price right off the bat, but wouldn’t budge after that. A couple hour delay was also incurred when they didn’t get the inspection done on time and car had a sma off the bat, but wouldn’t budge after that. I highly advise anyone who wants to get a car quickly without all the sales haggling overhead to use the internet and connect to your rep that way. It was a lot easier. I was out of there in an hour or two - I test drove a couple of cars, picked one, did the paperwork, got the loan, and picked the car up the next day. Did my research on edmunds.com and that got the price quotes rolling out to dealers in my area. I posted at 9PM, Eric responded at 2AM and was the first out of the gate. I'm a software engineer, so if someone's website is hard to use or just slow, I move on. I did try some test drives of other cars/brands earlier that week, and was dissapointed in the new Civic... I've had Corollas before and in my book their about equal. I ended up with a Matrix. Eric was good about telling me the color and styles he had in stock so I would not waste a 30minute trip to the lot. I found what I wanted and it was smooth sailing from there on it. I would recommend the Acton Toyota.
