I wanted a new Prius and took the internet approach. In the end, I bought from Acton even though it was a less convenient location w.r.t. home/work. In 1992 I bought a Saturn partly because of the hassle free environment. I bought additional Saturns in 2002 and 2003. I am impressed with Acton Toyota in that they provide quotes which do not change, they say how long the quotes are valid (several weeks in my case), and told me upfront about the extra charges (registration transfer and doc fee). They also provided the best price on the model I wanted. Even one of the Saturn dealers did not match this openness. Kudos to Juliana Chaves and Bob Rabb. More
I had a very narrow window to time to invest in my 'previously owned car' buying experience and Chris listened to my needs, and promptly identified suitable vehicles in my price range and feature list 'previously owned car' buying experience and Chris listened to my needs, and promptly identified suitable vehicles in my price range and feature list. We were in a car and testing it within 1 hour of walking in the door. That was the car I bought & 2 1/2 months later I am very happy I made that deal. I would highly recommend Acton Toyota; Chris and the entire sales and financial team. I haven't been for any service yet, which again speaks to the Toyota experience, but I expect that part of the business to perform equally professional. Thank you Acton Toyota and Chris Johnson for making this a positive experience for me. More
Very friendly service from the Internet Sales division. (I didn't have any interaction with the regular sales division... so they might be good, too.) The sales person, Ken, was very good at listening to (I didn't have any interaction with the regular sales division... so they might be good, too.) The sales person, Ken, was very good at listening to what I was looking for and worked hard to meet my expectations and price. We bought our first car at Acton Toyota in May, after speaking to four other dealerships. We bought our second Toyota in December, but only went to Acton. I've found that the service department is friendly, too. More
We had a great experience with Acton Toyota. The sales process was easy, Ken and the other staff were all very friendly and we're extremely happy with our new 4Runner. Working with Bree was a great experince that I would do again. I already went to Acton Toyota for service on my 04 Tundra. When I decided to get a Prius, I wanted the same service for a purchase. I request again. I already went to Acton Toyota for service on my 04 Tundra. When I decided to get a Prius, I wanted the same service for a purchase. I requested a quote from both Acton Toyota and Ira Toyota. The Ira Toyota response was playing games, inflating their invoice price, wouldn't give me a real number, and said they had the car in stock when they didn't. In contrast, Acton Toyota gave me a specific quote, told me all their fees that were or were not included. Bree was great to work with. I got the car when and as promised. Thanks for a great job. -Jonathan More
Very friendly, helpful through the whole process. Great service and new car orientation. Salesperson was very helpful with my special needs during the sales process, i.e. lunch break and expedited delivery service and new car orientation. I recently visited the Acton Toyota dealership looking to purchase a new vehicle. At first, everything seemed to be going ok. The sales guy was friendly and he showed us a selection of vehicles that we wer purchase a new vehicle. At first, everything seemed to be going ok. The sales guy was friendly and he showed us a selection of vehicles that we were interested in. I finally selected a Sienna that I was interested in and when it came time to sit down and do a deal, he kept speaking only to my husband. My husband told him three times that the vehicle was for me and I was the decision maker, but he kept only speaking to my husband. It was as if I didn't exist because I was a woman and therefore, incapable of making a decision for myself. To say the least, I was very insulted. He went to get his sales manager and when he came over, he even went so far as to shake my husband's hand and barely even acknowledged I was present. I even told the sales guy jokingly at one point that my husband probably wouldn't even know how to write a check out because I am in charge of all the finances in our house. My husband doesn't even know our account number, for that matter. Apparently, he didn't take the hint. Ultimately, what could have been a great experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Is that part of the sales training program at Acton Toyota or something? Do you automatically assume that we live in the 50s still and the men are the decision makers in every family. They need to treat women customers with the same amount of respect and realize that they are just as capable of purchasing a vehicle and in some cases, probably know more about cars than the husband themselves. Having dealt previously with Carl McPhee in buying my husband's Tacoma with the internet sales department, we were pleased to be able to do business with him again when I was in the market to replace my husband's Tacoma with the internet sales department, we were pleased to be able to do business with him again when I was in the market to replace my vehicle with a Corolla. Carl bent over backwards to try to make this experience a good one for us, and he was excellent. I appreciated the lack of high-pressure sales tactics and the honest friendliness. He efficiently helped us consider several options and we are very happy with the one we settled on. I love my new Corolla! The sales aspect of this purchase was wonderful, and I am enjoying my new ride. However, the finance process was far less efficient. The night we came in to sign on my Corolla, Carl had everything ready at the time of our appointment, but we had to wait over an hour for a finance representative to be ready, and even then the one we had the 6:00 appointment with was not free to see us. We had to be shuffled to another building and wait for a different finance rep to take care of us, and then found that we had been approved for the wrong amount on the loan ($5000 less than the vehicle price, and it was not because of bad credit, that was finance-guy error). Everyone was very apologetic, but it really seemed WRONG to wait that long when we had an appointment, and when Carl had everything set up for us. Carl did take the time to trek back and forth between buildings to set up the final paperwork, and we appreciate that since it was only about 14 degrees out. He skipped his own dinner time to help us out. I would highly recommend dealing with Carl to anyone in the market for a Toyota. In spite of the extra long wait with finance, Acton Toyota still offers the best car buying experience I've ever had. More
I had heard through the grapevine at work that Acton Toyota was the place to get the best deal on a new Toyota, and that the internet approach was best for getting the best deal stress-free. So a year- Toyota was the place to get the best deal on a new Toyota, and that the internet approach was best for getting the best deal stress-free. So a year-and-a-half ago, I purchased a new Corolla and found the experience even better than advertized by my co-workers. When I was in the market last week, when my older Avalon started showing its age, I went confidently back to the internet folks at Acton Toyota. This time I was looking for a lease and asked about another Corolla. Steve accommodated my wishes and provided a very good car for my consideration. However, he also suggested I consider a new Camry, since the residual value would be higher and the monthly lease payment would be about the same. Was I very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I got a better car for the same price and Steve's competence, diligence, and friendliness were all outstanding. I also got what I considered good value for my trade-in. I highly recommend Acton Toyota. It really is the best place in the area (it's not the closest for me--I came from three towns away) to get a great car, at a very competitive price, from people who go out of their way to make the process enjoyable and truly hasstle-free.
