my dealings with this dealer were exemplary.from the first internet contact, matt farnsworth was assigned to me as my personal contact. he was respectful, knowledgeable and more than willing to let me first internet contact, matt farnsworth was assigned to me as my personal contact. he was respectful, knowledgeable and more than willing to let me drive any of the cars i showed interest in. this alone was a refreshing experience in that i could take the cars out on my own without a salesperson along. he was always available to answer any questions and i never felt pressured to make a decision in a hurry. the trade-in experience was pleasant,honest and straight forward. i usually dread that part of the buying experience. having bought over 30+ cars over the years, it sometimes resulted in walking out of a dealership in disgust. not in this case. everyone involved worked very hard to work out an amicable experience. ben koller handled the financial details and did so with professionalism and friendliness. i honestly can say this was the best experience in buying a car i have ever had. i have dealt with their service department before with my tacoma that i purchase elsewhere. i go there because the service is excellent.i live in gloucester, but, i certainly will go the so called extra mile to have my car serviced at acton toyota. they are that caring and professional. I recently decided to ask for quotes on a 2008 Toyota RAV4 over the internet. Acton Toyota gave me the lowest price from six dealers that I asked for a quote. After meeting with sales representative Matt Farnsworth and test driving a vehicle, I decided to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle was ready in less than two days. I have always hated shopping for anything, and for cars I have always hated shopping for anything, and for cars even more. When I went on line to Acton Toyota and found out that and actual quote c I have always hated shopping for anything, and for cars even more. When I went on line to Acton Toyota and found out that and actual quote could be confirmed I was amazed. The only thing left to do was go to the dealership and pick out the vehicle. There was never any pressure or arm-twisting. What got my attention the most was that these folks actually like their job, each other, and their customers. When my car could not be delivered the day I went to pick it up they offered to bring it to my front door the next day. I have been in the service industry for many years and these people seem to get it right; treat people the way you would want to be treated yourself. More
After looking at Acton Toyota's site online and speaking with Matt Lamoureux over the telephone I went in to purchase a Sienna. It was New Year's Eve and it had snowed the night before. I asked to see various models and each time Bree went outside in the cold and shoveled off the vehicle with a smile. She was patient with all of my questions and didn't seem to mind that I had a 2 year old with me getting into everything in her office. By the end of the afternoon I had selected a new Sienna in my first choice of color and with all of the features that I needed to make my ride with 3 small children a little more pleasant. We picked up the vehicle 3 days later and have been driving happily ever since. We received a follow up phone call from Matt and emails from Bree. I found it both surprising and exceptional that they both took the time to make sure that we were happy with the vehicle even after the sale was made and already final. Throughout the process I was made to feel comfortable and informed of all of my options. There was never any pressure. I would gladly go to Acton Toyota again and have already recommended that my mom go there for a new Corolla. More
We first learned of Acton Toyota through its outstanding website. We set up an appointment to test drive a 2008 Camry with Carl McPhee of Acton Toyota’s Internet division. At the dealership, Carl put no pressure on us to buy. We had done our homework,and he appreciated that. He was very easy to work with and answered our many questions directly, no matter how detailed they were. He even took Norma on an extra test ride to make sure she was pleased with the Camry. Then he offered what he called a very aggressive price, one that was much lower that we had expected. We immediately accepted the offer. Carl showed us Camry’s in every color Toyota makes, and we made our selection. When we told him that we needed a car as soon as possible—we couldn’t wait until after the New Year’s holiday--Carl went to work. He speeded up the paperwork and the registration process and arranged for the service department to have the car cleaned and prepared for us immediately. The members of the Acton Toyota Internet staff as well as the dealership’s service coordinator treated us with utmost courtesy and competence. In an amazing five and one half hours from the time we arrived at the dealership, we drove away with our new 2008 Camry! We are delighted with our purchase, and when we are again in the market for a car, we would certainly want to deal with Carl McPhee. More
It took a little longer than I would have liked ... no fault of the dealership as I chose a vehicle that was a little more unique than most around New England ... but Steve and his staff did a great job i fault of the dealership as I chose a vehicle that was a little more unique than most around New England ... but Steve and his staff did a great job in getting the vehicle to me and making the change in registration, inspection stickers etc, very easy. At first I was skeptical of the idea of an "internet" car purchase. After filling in a simple form, I received an answer via email within one hour from a very competent woman named Juliana. She and Acton Toyota took the pain and suffering out of the car-buying process. My husband came along for the test drive, but Juliana didn't do the usual car salesperson trick of selling to the husband. She knew that I was the buyer, and focused her attention on my concerns. Brava, Juliana! No one at Acton Toyota applied the "hard-sell" tactic. My husband and I were left alone until we asked for help or clarification of a spec on the car. We went in to buy a Prius, but came home with a Camry Hybrid instead. No "wheeling dealing" techniques, no "I've got to run this past my sales manager". Juliana WAS Acton Toyota for us. Thanks for the great customer service. More

After wasting hours at a large dealer in Norwood trying to get straight answers with no tricks, it was a pleasure to deal with Acton Toyota. I asked in email for the price they would offer (not MSRP) of v to get straight answers with no tricks, it was a pleasure to deal with Acton Toyota. I asked in email for the price they would offer (not MSRP) of various prius option packages and got it without hesitation. And the prices were good. When I tried asking the same question at the other dealer, I couldn't get a straight answer. I had to sign that I would buy to see a price, then some manager behind the curtain said "no" to that price and there was a new price. I don't need these games. I also asked that they try to process my paperwork and get new plates all in one day. It was the last day of the year and they were swamped, but they did it. More
