Acton had the car I wanted in stock and offered the best price. The sales people at Acton appeared more knowledgeable than those at other dealers. More
Wellington lived up to his reputation on Dealer Rater in providing excellent service from the beginning to the end. This is our 5th Toyota we have purchased from Acton Toyota in the past 9 years and it was providing excellent service from the beginning to the end. This is our 5th Toyota we have purchased from Acton Toyota in the past 9 years and it was by far the best buying experience. We didn't bother shopping at any other dealership, we were tired of the way we have been treated in the past. This time we used the Internet sales staff at Acton and they were even better than the regular sales people. Although it took a while to get the RAV4 we wanted the way we wanted it all the way from Japan, Wellington kept us informed of it's progress and delivered it as soon as it arrived. My only reservation about Acton is we had a couple of items missing or not checked when we took delivery and were told Acton doesn't use the Toyota Pre-Delivery Checklist when they prep their vehicles, so find a copy of your vehicles checklist on the internet and look over your new car carefully. Acton Toyota New Car Sales Experience - I knew exactly what I wanted and went to 4 dealers and said give me your best price on a 2008 Prius package #2. Acton Toyota was very responsive and friendly. Two dealers were at MSRP, Acton was approx $400 under MSRP and one dealer was better. Acton Toyota also had the second lowest "doc" documentation fee which was $185 (highest was $299). So far so good. I thought I had found the dealer to buy from. Next came my 2004 trade. That is when everything fell apart. First they were under every trade # I could find online (KBB, Edmunds, NADA, etc.). Then as I went to the other dealers, it confirmed they were low. In fact they were by far the lowest ($10k vs. $12.2/$11.5k./$11.2). Factoring any diff in selling price and doc fee's the deal was still $1000-$1500 high than the others. I even tried an on-line buy-your-car for cash program [caroffer.com] for a reality check.. They came back with a buy your car for a high of $11,000 with a low of $10,700. Mind you this is a buy your car for cash service too. This may be an unusual case but needless to say the deal did not happen at Acton Toyota and I bought elsewhere. More
This review might seem a bit odd because I actually did not buy my vehicle from Acton because the vehicle was not available and I live quite a distance from the dealership. I will say that the price quote I got from Anthony was quite fair and the best I had received from any dealer without having to "play tennis" to arrive at a decent price. I also found that his honesty about what he could and couldn't do for me was a novel and refreshing experience. He told me up front that the vehicle I wanted was not currently available and might require a wait of several weeks. He even answered questions that I had regarding the purchase of the much-sought-after Prius even with the understanding that I might not be purchasing it from him. If I lived closer to Acton and could wait for the vehicle, I definitely would have done business with this dealership. It's refreshing to see a dealership that values honesty and fair pricing. If you're in the market for a Toyota, definitely give Acton, and specifically Anthony Clarke, a call. More

I had a very positive experience in upgrading my 2000 Tacoma to a 2008 model. My 8-year old truck with 71K miles was running great and I was planning to keep it for a long time. Then I learned (from Toyota) about the frame rust problems. I am totally amazed at Toyota's responsible approach to this issue. First class—customer-focused all the way. Toyota owned up to the problem with no quibbling and I think their terms on the buyback were very generous. I was already a Toyota fan, and this experience re-emphasizes why. Buying the new truck at Acton Toyota was a very straight-forward, pleasant experience. Dave Anderson was very personable and responsive throughout. He located the exact model/color/options I wanted and quickly got the truck to Acton. The no surprises internet pricing approach is very nice to work with. It may not be the rock bottom price (but it’s pretty good). And with no haggling and friendly people to work with, this is definitely the way to go More
