I travelled two hours to Acton after having an undesirable experience at a local dealership. When we arrived, Wellington made my first car buying experience a pleasureable one. It was quick, easy undesirable experience at a local dealership. When we arrived, Wellington made my first car buying experience a pleasureable one. It was quick, easy and I walked away satisfied. My fiance had bought his car at Acton the year previous and had nothing but good things to say about Wellington, and now, I too have nothing but good things to say. I will be recommending Acton Toyota to all my friends and family. More
I requested information on the vehicle I was interested in via the internet, and received an extremely quick response from the dealership with a quote I found acceptable after doing research on consumer re in via the internet, and received an extremely quick response from the dealership with a quote I found acceptable after doing research on consumer reports. The salesperson I dealt with was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite, gained my trust, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He located the exact car I was interested in and arranged what I felt was a good trade-in value for the car I was turning in. Although making such a big purchase as a car can be "nerve-wracking" to me, this was an excellent experience. More
I have only ever owned/bought new cars the Prius being my fourth. The only other low stress buying experience I had was when I bought a Saturn years ago. Being in high demand I expected to wait a few months fourth. The only other low stress buying experience I had was when I bought a Saturn years ago. Being in high demand I expected to wait a few months before I could get a Prius and maybe not be able to get the color I wanted. But the car arrived sooner than I expected and I got it in the color I wanted. I have heard of Toyota dealers that were selling the Prius to the highest bidder. Some have payed thousands over sticker. Not at Acton Toyota. I dealt with Juliana Chaves who was very nice. Now, I have said my nice things here are a few minor complaints. I had requested that no dealer badgeing be applied, Juliana requested it, but yet the people that prep the vehicle still put it on. Juliana took care of it on the spot! She took it off herself! The black rubber trim on the left rear bumper either was not installed properly or possible someone backed into something. Ben (sales mgr) documented it should be fixed next time I can get down to Acton. I didn't know that the floor mats were an option. A $199.99 option at that! I could get four ExactMats for $64.00 or for $179.00 I could have gotten the high quality heavy duty WeatherTech rubber mats. Overall, not a bad sales experience and I am getting 50mpg! More
I just purchased an 09 Camry from Acton Toyota. The experience I had there was fabulous. I did my research, decided on a car, model, trim, etc, etc. Then when it was time to start talking prices, Jerry experience I had there was fabulous. I did my research, decided on a car, model, trim, etc, etc. Then when it was time to start talking prices, Jerry Thomas from there gave me an excellent price, first time around. I paid only a few hundred over the amount I had set as a goal for myself to negotiate down to - with absolutely no negotiations. They were fast, friendly and did not mess around or try to squeeze me for things I didn't want. All in all and excellent experience. More
I emailed this dealership and ask them for a quote for Toyota Sienna with particular feature set and color. They gave me a price and we started to negotiate the price. After fifth or sixth email that came Toyota Sienna with particular feature set and color. They gave me a price and we started to negotiate the price. After fifth or sixth email that came out that they didn’t have a car I needed. They had only one with different features and in different color. When I asked why they were wasting my time then they said that it wasn’t fare and that I didn’t give them any chance. It wasn’t an adult conversation. It was ridiculous. More
If you're looking to buy a new Toyota at the best price without the games that dealers play then Acton Toyota is the place to go. After going to different dealers and researching prices I logged onto Acton without the games that dealers play then Acton Toyota is the place to go. After going to different dealers and researching prices I logged onto Acton Toyota. I was impressed with all the positive reviews at Dealerrater.com. Could they really be that good? Well they were, let me tell you. I found a few Camry's I was interested in that were invoice priced. I called and talked to Steve Jensen, he said yes we have those models on the lot. I went up there and what they had online is exactly what they had on the lot. They didn't try to sell me something else, there were absolutely no hidden fees or games at all. There was absolutely no stress. I highly recommend you try Acton Toyota, you won't regret it! R. Sweeney Oakham MA More
I spent some time on the internet searching for pre-owned FJ Cruisers. Acton Toyota had a couple of 2007 FJ Cruisers in the colors I was looking for so I gave them a call. The person I spoke with was Bob R FJ Cruisers. Acton Toyota had a couple of 2007 FJ Cruisers in the colors I was looking for so I gave them a call. The person I spoke with was Bob Rabb who seemed a pleasant sort over the phone. Bob is the internet sales person I spoke to and he had the knowledge about the FJ Cruiser. I told him what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay Bob went out of his way to get information about the truck by going outside, checking the FJ, and immediately calling me back. You see, several days earlier I drove over 30 miles to a Toyota dealer right off the Mass Turnpike, in really bad, torrential weather to see a Cruiser that supposedly had an automatic transmission. The internet ad and the sales person I talked with assured me it was "as advertised". Well, it wasn't, it was a six speed "stick"! I was heartbroken and a little "miffed" but I accepted their apology and went home a sadder but wiser man. And guess what! Three days later they were still advertising the FJ as an automatic, but I digress! When I met Mr. Rabb, he was just as pleasant and soft spoken in person and didn't try to push "extras" that so many dealer reps do. Long story short I bought a 2007, silver and white FJ Cruiser, five speed automatic with four wheel drive and have had nothing but good things to say about Toyota's quality, Bob Rabb, his business manager, Peter and the whole Acton Toyota internet sales staff. I plan on having all my work done there even though it's quite a ride from where I live, in Boston. I highly recommend Acton Toyota, Bob Rabb and the entire team in Acton, MA. Sincerely, Tom G. More
After 25 years of being a Saab owner, I recently purchased my first Toyota – a RAV4. Working with Steve Jensen really made the difference. There was absolutely no pressure, only honesty and straig purchased my first Toyota – a RAV4. Working with Steve Jensen really made the difference. There was absolutely no pressure, only honesty and straight talk about each vehicle I test drove. Steve’s attention to detail and his ability to tune into to the subtleties of the conversations between my husband and me as we test drove various vehicles quickly brought us to decide on the RAV4 – a full 360 from what I thought I would ever own! Our experience at Acton Toyota was a good one. We couldn’t help but notice how polite and respectful everyone was – not just to us but to one another. Everyone we met projected a genuine atmosphere of enjoying what they were doing and that they were happy to be there for you. We would not hesitate to recommend Steve and Acton Toyota. More
Though I waited longer than originally expected for the delivery of my 2009 Camry Hybrid, the staff at Acton Toyota were responsive and thorough in their dealings with me. Purchasing a car through their I delivery of my 2009 Camry Hybrid, the staff at Acton Toyota were responsive and thorough in their dealings with me. Purchasing a car through their Internet Sales division eliminated the standard haggling and resulted in a better price than when I visited a number of other show rooms in person. None of the other dealerships would discuss a drop in price from the sticker on the Camry Hybrid. They were only willing to haggle over my trade-in. The staff took the time to answer my questions and provided all costs upfront. More
I started my inquiries on cars more than six months prior to the actual purchase. From that start until I drove off the lot, I worked with Wellington and never once felt pressured or pushed into a purchase. to the actual purchase. From that start until I drove off the lot, I worked with Wellington and never once felt pressured or pushed into a purchase. In addition, he promptly answered questions and returned emails. I showed up at the dealership unannounced and he was still very professional and relaxed in approach. I knew what I wanted but he added a new dimension by restating, asking some questions, and ensuring that I actually got what I wanted. I also took him down multiple paths on auto style, models, features and the like and was very pleased with his knowledge but more so his willingness to go down those paths and not push one way or the other or show even a small sign of impatience. Great experience working with him! I don't yet know how well the total Acton Toyota experience will be since I just took the new Camry delivery, but with Wellington starting it, I feel quite confident. My only issue, and it really is minor, was the business manager's push on selling warranties, added security and similar items. The price he quoted for warranty was "discounted" from retail since he claimed to not be interested in making money on the sale. When I declined, he offered to lower the price by $400! That would be a loss and I doubt he wants to sell at a loss, so he has no credibility. That said, I am buying Toyota for quality and I found an excellent rep in Wellington. More
