Two weeks ago I purchased a used 2006 Highlander Limited from Acton Toyota. I went to the dealership because Bob Gaudet is a friend of mine and I knew he starting working there this past year. Also, about 6-8 years ago I used to work in Acton so I had heard that they had a good reputation. I took a couple of weeks to look at some of their used vehicles trying to decide exactly what I wanted; my back tends to stiffen up easily so I wanted to make sure I found a vehicle that would work for me. During the process, Bob introduced me to Jeff and Glenn; once I found the right vehicle, we were able to negotiate both the price of the 2006 Highlander Limited and my trade. After we agreed on the deal, my wife and I sat with Ed B. to go over the finances. I was very impressed with how professional and friendly everyone was. It was nice to be at a dealership where, at no time, did I feel like I was being pressured or stalked (I have been to enough of those dealerships over the last 20 years). The only experience I have had so far with the service department was with the inspection sticker and the installation of the vehicle locater device that I decided to purchase. The service waiting area is very nice and they were finished earlier than expected, plus with the wifi access, I was able to get work done while I waited. If he promised a price for a certain option he stuck to it even though later on the situation might have changed. All the paperwork associated with the insurance, licensing, and the registry of motor vehicles was done promptly and efficiently. I found the whole experience excellent and would recommend Acton Toyota and Jerry Thomas to anyone. More

Hi -- Jerry Thomas was terrific; very helpful with all my questions, accommodated a request for a second test drive. But what I appreciated the most was that he applied no pressure at all; he really did see questions, accommodated a request for a second test drive. My experience with Acton Toyota was drama-free from start to finish. I'd been to three other dealerships in the Boston Metro area and Acton was the only one who answered my questions (on price, features, ava to finish. I'd been to three other dealerships in the Boston Metro area and Acton was the only one who answered my questions (on price, features, availability) directly, quickly, and accurately. Most of the other dealerships spent upwards of an hour trying to keep me in the chair while they tried to negotiate on everything from an in-car first aid kit to carpet mats to lower the price. All without telling me a base price to know where I was negotiating from! By contrast, Acton responded to my first email within hours, with the best price of all the dealers right off the bat. There were no surprises on ordering or picking up the car. When my primary sales person went on vacation the week the car was due in, her communication to me and hand-off to another sales person to complete the pickup was seamless. Though they are 45 minutes away from me, I tried them based on the recommendations of other buyers on a few discussion forums. I'm very pleased with my experience and have already recommended them to friends. More
I ordered a new Prius on July 2, 2008. I was told that if any became available sooner, I would certainly be notified. Two other local Toyota dealerships notified me during my 4 month wait that they had Priu any became available sooner, I would certainly be notified. Two other local Toyota dealerships notified me during my 4 month wait that they had Priuses available for a total of 9 cars. Acton Toyota did not call me once, no communication whatsoever. Did Acton Toyota simply sell any available Priuses to customers off the street to insure an additional sales instead of contacting customers on the waiting list? I finally called the dealership on Oct. 20, spoke to Shawnee, and expressed my frustration and disappointment. He checked on my order and told me that it was due in within 2 weeks. He was very concerned and apologetic, and offered me a few options which I accepted. On Oct. 29, I got a call from my salesman, Bob Rabb, that my car was delivered. When I arrived at the dealership to pay for the car, I asked Bob why I had never been contacted when there was an available car. He replied that it must have been a computer malfunction. Since I had waited 4 months for this car, I asked Bob if it came in as specified. He assured me that it had. But in actuality, it did not. The interior color was wrong. Bob stated that there was nothing he could do other than reorder the car. By this time I was fed up with this dealership. I settled for a less than acceptable car because I could not bear another 4 month wait. By far, this was the worst experience I have had in purchasing n new vehicle. More
My wife and I visited a couple of very large Toyota dealerships before going to Acton Toyota of Littleton. Both of these dealerships had a car we were interested in and offered a competitive price. But, when we met the sales manager in each case we were turned off. When I searched blogs on the internet they only confirmed my suspicions. I had initially got a price quote from Acton Toyota via the Toyota.com web site and Acton Toyota was one of the respondents but I selected the two mega dealerships for my first two dealer visits. When subsequently read about Acton Toyota on the various blogs discussing cars, all I read was amazingly positive so we decided to visit Acton Toyota. I was surprised by the number of cars on display and how easy it was to look at them by ourselves without a sales rep watching over us. When we were ready to meet with a sales rep, John Bernard was introduced to us. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and above all very straighforward and honest. That was the case for everyone else we met at this dealership...almost too good to believe! This dealership just opened up their new state-of-the-art dealership in Littleton three weeks ago. I understand they were previously located in Acton. We drove home our new 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport last night! More
This is the second vehicle that I have bought from Acton in the last six months and it is my fourth from this dealer. In both of the last two I dealt with internet sales with Juliana Chaves. She was excella in the last six months and it is my fourth from this dealer. In both of the last two I dealt with internet sales with Juliana Chaves. She was excellant in dealing what I wanted and she worked to get me the price that I wanted to pay. She listened to what my needs were and I did not need to spend endless hour dealing to get my price. I went to her and told her I was going shopping elsewhere just to compare prices. Iwent to 3 other dealers and only one beat their price after I told them where I was with Acton. I told the other dealer that he would have to beat Actons price by more than $200 Dollars because I new that I would be able to get them down $200 more which I did and did not think it was fair to give them a price just so that they could beat it. needless to say one dealer beat it by $150 dollars, but Acto came through with the extra $200 to make my deal come through. Juliana Chaves was also very knowledgeable about the vechicle which other dealers were not. It was a pleasant car buying experiece. More
