We recently purchased a new 2009 Prius from Tom Downing at Acton Toyota in Littleton. He spent a great deal of time answering all of our questions, was extremely helpful, patient, and nice to work wit at Acton Toyota in Littleton. He spent a great deal of time answering all of our questions, was extremely helpful, patient, and nice to work with -- the complete opposite of the stereotypical "car salesman" we encountered earlier when buying our first Prius at a different dealership. And we were happy with the price we paid. We intend to take BOTH of our Priuses to Acton Toyota for servicing. The service department is attractive, and has a comfortable waiting area for customers, including computer work stations, an enclosed play area for children, and a free coffee/juice bar. Customers can book their own appointments online, which will be a real convenience for us. All in all, a very good experience. More
This was my first experience at a car dealership (other than for service), and let's just say I'm not a fan of negotiating or pushy sales tactics. I was relieved after spending a few minutes with Gareth, who sat us down and pretty much let us tell him which vehicles we were interested in and answered all our questions honestly and patiently. My wife and I knew we wanted a certified used Rav4 and had done some research on the models available on the Acton Toyota's (of Littleton) website. Gareth gladly let us test drive the few we had narrowed down to, and from there it was onto my least favorite but nonetheless necessary part. Gareth checked with his manager Shawnee about the numbers we proposed, and when we hit a bit of a stalemate Shawnee came and sat down with us. He matter of factly showed us all the key numbers on what the dealership cost was, and what they had to pay to recondition and inspect the car. We appreciated the upfront and honest nature with which he approached the situaion. He even knocked off a little extra after we had already settled on a number! Frank was much more "real" and honest than what we had expected from the "finance guy", which let's face it don't get the best rap. Of course he encouraged us to purchase some add-ons but was never aggressive or pushy. As a final note, I must commend both Gareth and Frank for being so patient with a funky situation my wife and I hit them with. My wife was adamant about using a local credit union from back home in Alabama because she had gotten stellar rates from them in the past. Long story short, there was an issue related to my wife's maiden name not being changed on her account with them and a beaurocratic nightmare ensued. After torturing Frank and Gareth for a week, she gave in and went with Toyota's financing, which was barely a higher rate and alot easier on all invloved. Gareth even came in on his day off to send me off with my new Rav4! I look forward to many years of service at Acton Toyota of Littleton. More
My recent purchase of a 2009 Matrix S at Acton Toyota has proven to me that car buying can actually be a pleasant, hassle-free experience. I had originally gone to a different Massachusetts dealership to test drive a Rav4 and Matrix. My husband and I made it clear that we were gathering information only, but we were kept waiting a long time, subjected to sales pressure to buy a used car on the lot, and for days we received multiple follow-up phone calls. I turned to the Internet and I learned that I could receive quotes online. Though it was New Year’s Eve, and Acton Toyota was closed the next day, within a few hours of my request I received an email with price quotes from John Bohr. These quotes included all fees involved in the purchase so that there would be no surprises. We were met at the dealership by Steve Jensen. Steve was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He had already reviewed our emails with John and he had Matrix ready for us to test drive. The quotes we had received were honored and we were ready to buy the car. However, we needed to purchase the car within a few days to take advantage of a promotion, and Acton Toyota did not have the Matrix in the color we wanted. Steve worked incredibly hard and he successfully found us another car with the same price points. Completing the financing was smooth and quick and we had the car within two days. I found a Certified Pre-Owned Prius online at Acton Toyota that met all my criteria, so I called, set up an appointment for later that day, and headed over to the dealership. Steve Augusta met me, we talked about the car, and then he took me outside to the car which he had already retrieved from the lot and gotten warmed up (it was a brutally cold day). We went for a drive, he explained many of the features of the Prius, and I bought the car a few minutes later. I just picked up the car this morning and I couldn't be happier with it! Steve was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the sales process proceeded seamlessly. He took care of all the preparation of the car, including registration, insurance and inspection. He even met me at the train station this morning when I went to pick up the car! That's really going the extra mile. I recommend this sales person and this dealership wholeheartedly. More

I have purchased many new cars and this by far is the most honest dealership and sales people I have dealt with. I just had the 5K service preformed on both cars and I had a slight rattle in one of them, service was great it was scheduled for repair and the repair was done on time and to my satisfaction. First, I found your dealership online using the Kelly blue book "click through". I brought the family to you littleton dealership and the free cocoa and playroom helped keep my my 5 year old entertained and allowed my wife and I to work with Wellington Pereira our sale rep to make the next decision, New vs. USED. Wellington was never "pushy" one way or another. He listened well and offered up the info. we needed to make our decsion. After looking at the 2009 Matrix we also asked to look at a 2007 used and a 2005 as well. Wellington was very attentive and quickly made available the 2007 for a test drive. The 2005 was not on the lot yet so Wellington agreed to call when it arrived. He called the next day and set up the meeting at your car annex. We decided we liked the 2005 and set about establishing the purchase price. Though our prices were "way off" at the beginning Wellington never lost his patience during the negoiations. Wellington made every effort to balance the dealerships price requirement with ours ultimately leading to us agreeing on a purchase price. We finalized the deal the next day and the papter work process went smoothly. My wife and I are very pleased with our purchasing experience and would purchase a car or recommend your dealership to our family/friends in the future. Was very cool to get that responce and not to have to drive to the location for it. Then I went down when I had time to look for a truck, and steve meet me at the door. He gave me more than enough info about the 3 diffrent trucks and we got it down to the one I liked double cab tacoma 09!
