I went in for scheduled maintenance. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Acton Toyota of Littleton. What started out as a casual new 4runner shopping (I still had a 1997 4runner with 262,500miles on it that experience with Acton Toyota of Littleton. What started out as a casual new 4runner shopping (I still had a 1997 4runner with 262,500miles on it that was running very well) quickly turned into a stressful shopping with dead end results at Girard Toyota in CT., Colchester Toyota in CT. & Ira Toyota of Danvers, MA. The worst being Ira Toyota. After 5-7 days of communication via internet with Ira(Todd Stump), I could not commit to a time for a test drive(2 hr drive for me) & they would not commit to a price until I did. When I finally told them that the "deal" would in no way be made by the end of the month of February, which is what they requested of me, they dropped me like a hot potato. They replied with "We'll be in touch next month!!" Come to find out the vehicle we were negotiating about was already swapped out of their dealership. Good thing I didn't make the drive!! I was so frustrated & didn't have a NEED for a new vehicle so I said enough of this nonsense for now. Then curiosity got the best of me & I started searching the web again with a description of the exact 4runner I wanted when it was time to get it. This is when I came across Acton Toyota. They had the vehicle in their inventory. I gave it a shot & sent them my price offer. Not only did they accept it,they promised to hold the vehicle for me until we could go up to the dealership to test drive it(which they did hold it). Besides a few communication "bumps" that were straightened out quickly & efficiently (my husband & I were both working on this)the whole process went very smoothly. From the test drive,to the paperwork, to the delivery of the vehicle to my driveway, I was just waiting for it to fall apart b/c of my previous bad experiences. But it all went well & I am a VERY happy owner of a brand new 2010 Toyota 4runner thanx to Tom Downing, Scott Bristol and Jack Lloyd...You guys are awesome!!
