My experience with Acton Toyota and Tomas was extremely positive. From my initial visit to the final pickup, I felt like the entire operation was first class. Tomas really gave me the feeling of trust from positive. From my initial visit to the final pickup, I felt like the entire operation was first class. Tomas really gave me the feeling of trust from the first moment. I was prepared to really shop my deal and in the end I think I even paid more than the competitors would have offered because I preferred Acton over the others. I feel very confident referring both Tomas and Acton to my friends and family. More
i am very impressed with acton toyota. i solicited an on-line quote from several toyota dealers in 2004 for a new toyota tacoma. acton toyota gave me the best quote on a brand new toyota tacoma. i did on-line quote from several toyota dealers in 2004 for a new toyota tacoma. acton toyota gave me the best quote on a brand new toyota tacoma. i did the same thing again in 2010 and acton toyota again gave me the best value on a trade as well as the lowest quote on a new vehicle, in this case, another tacoma. its customer service is excellent. kudos to the salesman i worked with, mr. steve jensen. he secured my business with acton toyota. Acton Toyota Team: Gregg McHugh and Jack Lloyd Car Acton Toyota Team: Gregg McHugh and Jack Lloyd Car purchased: Toyota Yaris If I am to sit here and describe this great experience, it will take me Acton Toyota Team: Gregg McHugh and Jack Lloyd Car purchased: Toyota Yaris If I am to sit here and describe this great experience, it will take me pages to do so. So I will try to be as brief and objective as possible. I am a first time buyer of a new car. Up to this point, I bought and drove only used cars. I always dealt with private parties and never had to deal with loans and dealers. So my experience buying new, prior to this purchase, was close to 0. I started an intense research for a Yaris about a month ago. I was very skeptical about new car dealers. I read a lot online about the scams they do, the pressure tactics, the fake APR, etc. This webpage was my starting point and decided to focus only on the dealers with the highest ratings listed here. The two other dealers in the list were rejected for different reasons. One did not have the car I wanted, the other took too long to respond and I had to squeeze information vs. receiving it on a platter. Acton Toyota had what I wanted. They have a huge parking lot with great selection. My car was listed online. Then I requested a quote for it online. Within minutes Gregg sent me an email. The email had no trace of monkey business: Gregg listed the MSRP, the invoice price, and the price he was ready to let go of the car. To make me feel better, he offered an immediate cash incentive which was subtracted from the price. To make sure I was getting a good deal I checked Edmunds.com right away and the numbers that Gregg gave me were very close to what Edmunds listed. I grilled Gregg for two days with all kinds of questions. He replied to every single one of them. He answered them accurately without any misleading intentions. I kept the emails as a paper trail and brought them with me to the dealership on the day of purchase. I bought my new Yaris on 3/20. On this day, we went there and the first impression was how clean and neat the dealership was. It was also one of the biggest dealerships I have seen. A nice lady at the reception greeted us. She immediately called Gregg on the phone to let him know we were there. Gregg was with a client at the time, but we were offered orange juice and water as refreshments while we waited for him. Gregg showed up about 10 minutes later. He had a great presence and made me feel good about going to Acton. Then he left us for about five minutes to bring the car. He just put a dealer plate, asked me for my driver's license to make a copy and gave me the keys to take the car for a test drive. At other places, dealers will give you an all beat up test car, will take you for a spin around the parking, or try to discourage you from driving the car all together. Gregg did none of these. He handed me the keys, gave me directions to a quite parking lot, and let me and my wife enjoy the car all by ourselves. The only condition was to be back in about half an hour so we can close the deal (again IF we liked the car) before the closing time of the dealership. Again, this was very important: not only to test-drive the car, but to do so just with my wife, without worrying about a dealer sitting in the passenger seat. Also, I test-drove the actual car that I ended up buying. While on the test drive, I stopped at a parking lot and checked the car inside and out. I had printed out all the car specs as listed on their web page before we went to the dealership. When we stopped at the parking lot I pulled out the sheet and checked that all the specs listed online matched what was in the car. The VIN and the specs checked out. I was buying the car that I originally intended and nothing was swapped in the last moment. At this point I felt great about the way these guys did business. I liked the car and my wife felt comfortable about buying it. We came back 30 minutes later. I told Gregg that I am sold on the car and he took us upstairs to his office to do the paperwork. In his office, we filled a credit application and some additional paperwork. The whole time, I checked to make sure that what I filled out was what was intended to be. No double side papers, no last minute changes. The process in Gregg’s office took about 30 minutes. After that, it was time to ink the deal. He took us to the office of Jack Lloyd. Jack is a Financial Manager and a true professional. He knows his part of the business and he is very efficient in getting the paperwork done. Jack filled out the loan papers, the registration, and the purchase contract. He had everything lined up for me to review. He informed me about the extended warranty for the car and a few other plans. I declined to purchase any of the offered products and he did not once try to push or impose anything on me. He just asked me to sign a small paper saying that we had discussed my warranty and protection options and I am aware of those. I decided to go just with the basic warranty and that was that. Next, he offered me the standard incentives that were currently going on. I picked the $1000 cash back. Another interesting twist is worth mentioning. As I said before, when it came down to signing papers I was always on the look to make sure that there was no last minute gimmick that a dealer might pull. So I told Jack that I am planning to read every single line and fine print of the contract and the rest of he paper work before I signed anything. Jack said he had no problem with that. To make things easy on me and my wife, he left us in his office to privately review the documents, while he went about some other business. We would periodically show up to answer any questions we might have had, but never to rush us to sign or do anything against our will. I read every single line and it took me a good hour and a half of reading. Not that I am a slow reader, but these things can be complicated and I had to re-read the text until it all made sense to me. Never rush when you are talking big money. The devil is in the details! By the time I was done reading, the dealership had already been closed for 40 minutes. Jack stayed with us on a Saturday night when his family was expecting him for dinner! I try to never put business before family and I know how Jack must have felt being late, but he never once came to rush me to sign the deal. When I was finally ready, I asked him a few questions about the fine print, he answered them, and I signed the papers. By the time we left the dealership it was already dark and Jack’s dinner probably cold. Sorry Jack! To put the icing on the cake, it is worth mentioning one more thing. I did not trade in my old car so the dealership had to file for new plates and registration. Since it was Saturday, we agreed with Gregg to pick up the car a week later Saturday 3/27. As I did not feel like driving from Boston to Littleton again, I asked Gregg if they could pick my wife and me from the train station at Route 495. He asked to let him know ahead of time and he would have transportation for us. Last Saturday we got off the train and a nice guy called Ed, who works for Acton Toyota, picked us up and dropped us off at the dealership. The car was ready for us: cleaned, buffed, and a full thank of gas. Gregg gave me the keys and we were out cruising in our brand new car in less than 15 minutes. I am already at two pages and I meant to keep it short, but if you want to understand how I feel you need to experience the friendliness and professionalism at Acton Toyota. This is a great place to do business and all the high rankings confirm that. Make sure to ask for Gregg and Jack. Positives: + clean and well organized dealership with large inventory + management that cares about people. Their big boss Mike Hill reads all the online postings and eliminates negative influences at the root. + no pressure tactics, no cheating, do not be afraid to review all the documents at your own paste and ask a lot of questions + negotiate via email or phone + great prices and deals + great customer care Negatives: - The donuts were out in the coffee area when I got there, although there was plenty of juice, coffee, and water More
I leased a new Prius this week from Acton Toyota. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our salesman was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The transaction was completed quickly and wh couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our salesman was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We started looking for a new car over the winter. Our son had suggested looking at the Venza and we loved it. We tend to keep our cars for a long time. Our previous car a 1999 Camry also came from Acton Toyota. On our first visit to Acton Toyota of Littleton, we met John Bernard and liked his honestness and willingness to work with us. He provided many different Venzas for us to drive...from a 4-cylinder to the 6-cylinder, equipped with many different packages. We even took one out in a snowstorm to see how it handled. It held the road very well. We did find the Venza with the packages that we wanted at another dealership for a slightly lower price, but in the end decided to go with Acton Toyota and John. We trusted him and have always had great service at the dealership. More
Our salesman was friendly and low pressure. He listened to our "situation" and gave us a series of options that might work for us. In particular he gave a very thorough account of the advantages and disadv to our "situation" and gave us a series of options that might work for us. In particular he gave a very thorough account of the advantages and disadvantages between buying and leasing a car - in effect the essence of what it means to borrow money an a depreciating asset. I'd also like to point out the Shawn reiterated that it was Acton Toyota's goal to provide the best service and information so that they can continue to build their business on repeat customers. Buying a car is a big decision, and Shawn helped us through the process in a professional yet very friendly fashion. I would recommend Acton Toyota to friends and family after this highly positive experience. Chris Spivey More
I would like to thank John B. and Tom for a very positive experience at Acton Toyota of Littleton, MA in relation to the recent new lease I got on a Toyota Rav 4. Of course, the most important issue for me experience at Acton Toyota of Littleton, MA in relation to the recent new lease I got on a Toyota Rav 4. Of course, the most important issue for me is getting a good deal but beyond that these guys were both very professional and the business over there ran very effiently to get me out the door on the new lease. I hope to be able to get in a similar position three years from now when the lease is up. Pat Murphy More
By far the most direct and easy to negotiate with of the three Toyota dealerships that I contacted. There was a decided absence of high pressure techniques that made the car buying experience a lot less three Toyota dealerships that I contacted. There was a decided absence of high pressure techniques that made the car buying experience a lot less stressful than at other dealers (particularly other Toyota dealers). The list price for used vehicles was lower than for similar used vehicles at other Toyota dealers. My reviews have gone down because of interactions with the financing department. I obtained a loan through Toyota Financial. But the dealer made mistakes with the paperwork that caused my direct deposit to not be appropriately credited to my loan. When made aware of the problem, they were not very thorough or quick about taking care of the problem. More

I actually enjoy coming in for service. I love it when the service door pulls up when I drive up. Someone is jolly on the spot to meet me and send me to the service coordinator. And I get to read in the the service door pulls up when I drive up. Someone is jolly on the spot to meet me and send me to the service coordinator. And I get to read in the waiting room. For me, that's like being on vacation. They even have little swing out table tops so you can rest your book, or cup or whatever. There's a WI-FI room and TV, vending machine. It couldn't be much better if they came to your home. More
