The process for purchasing a new vehicle was excellent. There was excellent, responsive customer service from the salesman, Tom Downing, and no undue pressure. A very straightforward process. I appreciate that they answered all my questions, were informative and didn't waste any of my time with unnecessary sales pressure. I really appreciated that the vehicle was ready and the delivery process was swift while at the same time allowing time to answer any questions I had. The price quoted initially on the internet was adhered to and it was a very good price. As always there is a little haggling over the value of a trade in but no games were played between shifting the new vehicle sale price on one end and adjusting the the trade in value. I was not totally pleased with the trade in value and don't see why dealers have to create such a margin between the trade in value given and the price they will sell it for, but this is the case at every dealer I have used. Seems to me that the margin (price they pay vs. price they sell for) they create on a used vehicle is always significantly more than the margin they have on the new vehicles they sell. As for the vehicle, a RAV4 Limited V6, it is an excellent choice. I have been a dedicated Honda/Acura owner for 30 years and was happy with those vehicles. I traded a Honda CRV EXL, which only comes with a 4 cylinder engine for the RV4 because I desired a more powerful, smoother engine. I am an avid reader and believer of Consumer Reports, particularly when it comes to vehicles. They have always rated the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 very closely. Frankly I don't understand that - this RAV 4 is a much better vehicle and clearly a better value than the Honda. Toyota succeeded in winning over a 30 year veteran of Honda products. I will now highly recommend Toyota vehicles to family and friends. Lastly, Acton Toyota's facilities are outstanding - the best I have ever seen, they have set a new standard of excellence. More

We were very pleased with the salesman Gregg McHugh, his knowledge of the Camry we ultimately bought was pivotal in our decision to purchase it. Also, his personality was friendly and trustworthy. He firmly believed our purchase was the best for our needs. We have let others know of our positive experience at Acton Toyota and as of now I think one friend is in the process of buying a Camry. This place treats you nice, wide open space, nice atmosphere, we had a complementary lunch. They were real friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. The only part I didn't like (which isn't really a clever tactic) the have different people help you find cars vs actually dealing with the money related stuff. This makes it hard to tell who you should be talking to get a better deal. In this case it was ok since the price was already a good deal and the lease deal was very reasonable. But that said, I didn't even get a chance to argue down the price. I will give them the point of earning their money well, the whole act is well played and it all too smooth. It was all too late by the time I realized what had happened. But the deal was still good, so I am still happy. More
I should have written this review much earlier.....I went for a regular oil change for my 2010 Prius in mid-January. Dan Sweeney mentioned that Toyota had recently recommended synthetic oil only for 2010 Pri for a regular oil change for my 2010 Prius in mid-January. Dan Sweeney mentioned that Toyota had recently recommended synthetic oil only for 2010 Prius. I wasn't very happy when he said he wasn't sure if the oil change was required every 10,000 miles(synthetic oil) instead of 5,000 miles(regular oil). A synthetic oil definitely cost much more. But before I reached home, Dan had done the research and had left a message on my home phone confirming that with synthetic oil, we needed to change oil just once every 10,000 miles (although oil maintenance required warning will come on every 5000 miles). This is what I call excellent customer service! Also, I appreciated the free breakfast in their cafe while my car was being serviced. More

I went in this morning for a 5,000 mile service and oil change. It is a breeze to schedule an appointment online. They took care of me as soon as I arrived.
