We could not be more pleased with our purchase of a 2010 Highlander. Shawn Gormley from the Internet Sales was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We told Shawn the exact model and color we wanted Highlander. Shawn Gormley from the Internet Sales was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We told Shawn the exact model and color we wanted and he was on it. He worked very hard to locate a dealer trade. The price for the new car and also our trade was very fair. The whole process was very fast and painless. We also worked with Ken on the pickup. Excellent job by Shawn, Ken and the team at Acton Toyota. Highly recommend buying through Shawn or Ken. More
I was delighted and surprised by the caliber of service from Tomas Revetria. I didn't need much assistance deciding on the Prius but he carefully explained many details and made sure that I understood all from Tomas Revetria. I didn't need much assistance deciding on the Prius but he carefully explained many details and made sure that I understood all aspects of the transaction. Tomas' low key, professional manner was appreciated. He is a very personable salesman. The dealership offers many niceties, many of which you would not get at a regular car dealership so that was icing on the cake. My last stop was to visit with Jack and get set up for Rewards, etc. Jack was joyful and humorous and it was a great ending to an all-around pleasant car shopping morning. Going back to the dealer for service will be a pleasure. Great job, Tomas and Jack and Acton Toyota More

Our overall experience with the dealer was very positive. Chris was very easy to work with and at no time did we feel the typical car dealer pressure tactics usually felt at other dealers. He was friendly and listened to what we were looking for and quickly provided us with test drive cars even though we clearly weren't decided on a particular car style and in fact the options we considered were very different (Prius versus Venza). We really like the new dealership, and its very nice to have a large and well apportioned dealer that is not on the "auto mile". More
Mr. Shawn Gormley has an approach that can be summarized in three words: easy, simple and straightforward. His answers were not overdrawn. He had a fairly good knowledge-base about the car (Prius 2010) and readily admitted his limits or uncertainties. I appreciated the time and space that he has allowed around the decision-making process. Pricing was smoothed over by the efforts of Mr. Kevin Townshend, another member of the Internet Sales Dept, who forwarded several quotes and incentives. More

I purchased two vehicles from Acton Toyota since October 2009 and they are the 5th & 6th cars we have purchased from that dealership. I find the selection and quality of vehicles to be the best in the surr 2009 and they are the 5th & 6th cars we have purchased from that dealership. I find the selection and quality of vehicles to be the best in the surrounding area. When you combine the salesmenship with their new state of the art service facility (on-line service appointments, beautiful facility, cafeteria, fitness center, and unlimited internet access) it makes it a great dealership overall. It is very easy and convienent to wait while you get your car service. I would highly recommend this dealership, and have already referred three familes who have purchased vehicles at Acton Toyota. Don't trust service department. In August 09, I had a brake inspection performed by Acton Toyota of Littleton on my 02 Toyota Tacoma. Rear brake shoe measurement: 4mm on all shoes. Nine months later i brake inspection performed by Acton Toyota of Littleton on my 02 Toyota Tacoma. Rear brake shoe measurement: 4mm on all shoes. Nine months later in May 2010, I request a brake system inspection due to some vibration in the steering wheel when I apply the brake pedal. The rear brake shoe measurement this time: 5mm. I compare to my August 09 check sheet. Magically, my rear brake shoes are gaining life! Obviously, at least one of the measurements wasn't even taken. Randy, Acton Toyota Service Manager, admits that his techs just eyeball the measurement and round the # as the technicians see fit. I can do that. I'm not paying for a technician to arbitrarily round my brake measurements! Now to their documented service recommendation/estimate on the vibration: "Found pulsation from front and rear brakes. Recommend replace front rotors at $350 parts/labor, replace rear drums and clean/adjust rear brakes at $395 parts/labor, flush and replace power steering ($150) and brake fluids ($150)." Total estimate: $1,045. I wisely declined. I know when someone is trying to sell me work I don't need. I just had a full-blown brake job done 12K miles earlier by a brake-specialist mechanic for a total of $676. I have another mechanic inspect my brakes. Indeed, I only need to replace one front rotor and machine the other one. No need for new drums or rear adjustments, brake fluid, or steering fluid. Difference: -$840. I go back to Acton Toyota and show my documentation to Randy, Service Manager. He immediately goes on the defensive, making excuses of not being there, etc. He doesn't accept responsibility for the obviously bogus measurements; he doesn't accept responsibility for the bogus service recommendations; he doesn't offer any reimbursement. He offers to do the brake inspection again. Sure, now that they've been caught not giving an accurate inspection, they'll be sure to do it accurately this time! I suggest a refund of a portion of the $70 I was charged for the 5K-mile servicing. Because Acton Toyota doesn't break-out the cost of the brake system inspection, he tries to convince me I wasn’t charged for it. Being a smart-ass, he says he'll gladly refund that amount. (So $0). He is condescending and the poorest customer service manager I've ever witnessed. How did this guy become Service Manager? I left with no apology; no refund. That's fine; I went ahead and filed a dispute with my credit card for a portion of the total charge. I guess some within Toyota still haven't got it through their heads that actions speak louder than words -- especially when it comes to trust, which makes what was left in my car afterwards even more ridiculous and ironic. It reads: "Dear Toyota Owner, Recent events involving Toyota vehicles have called in question the commitment of Toyota to its core principles of building the highest quality, safest, and most reliable automobiles in the world. The recalls that Toyota has announced have shaken the trust of even the most loyal Toyota owners. But great companies learn from their mistakes, and Toyota knows that it has to win back the trust of its customers by adhering to the very values on which that trust was first built. In the coming days and weeks, you will see firsthand that Toyota will demonstrate in an unprecedented way its unwavering commitment to continuous improvement: going to the source of a problem and fixing it. It's the Toyota Way. At Acton Toyota of Littleton, we share your concerns. We appreciate your patronage, your patience, and your understanding. And you have our word that we will do everything in our power to complete any needed repairs to your vehicle as quickly, conveniently, and professionally as possible. That's the Acton Toyota way... Sincerely, Mike Hills General Manager" Sure, Mike. Whatever you say. I certainly won't be returning to Acton Toyota of Littleton. I suggest you don't either. Perhaps it is time to switch to American-made vehicles. Tyler F. Littleton, MA More
