My truck had a coolant leak so I took it to my mechanic in Beeville. He determined that there was a leak from the turbo booster on the driver's side, but he did not have the tools to fix it so he recommended I take it to Access Ford. I called Access Ford Service Dept and explained my situation and that my mechanic had told me that the leak was from the turbo booster. A day or two later I received a call from Access Ford stating that they did not detect a leak from the turbo booster, but they did find one from the coolant reservoir and another location. They asked if I would approve the repairs which I did. The next day I paid $1,300+ to Access Ford and drove my truck home. After being home a while I walked outside and noted that coolant was still leaking so I contacted Access Ford and was asked when they could take another look. I asked what it will cost this time without response so I tried contacting the Service Dept. for three days via telephone and text message without receiving any response. Then, I tried the online chat (i.e., Jennifer). The first day she told me she would have the service dept. call me. They didn't. The second day she told me she would have the service dept. call me. They didn't. The third day she would respond when I initiated the online chat! At that point I realized that Access Ford did not care that I had paid for a repair that did not happen, but because my mechanic did not have the tools to repair the leak I decided to return it to Access Ford in hopes that they would cover the repairs with what I had already paid and, if they didn't, I would still have to pay more because I needed my truck.
