I took my Ford Explorer in for a simple oil change, but what followed turned into a complete disaster. While pulling into the service bay, the car was wrecked. Instead of taking responsibility, the dealers what followed turned into a complete disaster. While pulling into the service bay, the car was wrecked. Instead of taking responsibility, the dealership avoided addressing the damage and sent my car to an unknown body shop. They only fixed the bare minimum, and when I asked for clarity, they never provided a service ticket or explained what had been repaired or replaced. Since the incident, my car has never been the same. I’m now stuck with a car that has ongoing issues because of this mishandling. The dealership's service and communication were abysmal — they pressured me not to involve my insurance, which, in hindsight, was a huge mistake. If you value your vehicle and peace of mind, stay far away from this dealership. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and transparency makes this a place to avoid at all costs. More
SCAM ALEERT! !! Stay away from this company. After the agreed price for a car I was going to buy. Their asking price BTW. I didn’t haggle or ask for any extras at !! Stay away from this company. After the agreed price for a car I was going to buy. Their asking price BTW. I didn’t haggle or ask for any extras at all. Easiest sale this person has ever had. The salesman came back with his up sell efforts. I said, “Look, I’m not interested in any of these aftermarket products. 4 items that were each about $1500. The salesman then told me they come with the car. It’s already in the price. I was shocked. But, ok giving me some sizzle before the rate came out. I knew it was going to be a high rate. So I figured he was giving me reason to buy. But, if they want to give me these things Ill take them. Things like preselling me a windshield five years in advance for $1500. I know they can get a windshield installed for $300. Heck, I can. But if they want to inflate the price of something they are giving me for free. Then let them say whatever the value is. I don’t care. The rate what high but that’s not on them. Thats the credit I showed up with. The deal was zero money down. I agreed and moved to financing. The financing department by the way is very professional and they are able to get good deals from the relationship they have. My problem is with the sales process. In in the finance office now, signing, and after about 6 signatures, I asked what the term was because the monthly seemed high. I figured the term was short. He came back WITH 72 months. That didn’t math in my head. I asked whats going on. He said its all your add ons. The sales team was trying to make me pay for these unwanted aftermarket xx products. I said I absolutely did not agree to this. Please remove them. That should math better. The finance manager didn't have that authority and said he had to go back to the Sales Manager for the removal. I said please remove these things and we can continue. After a minute he came back with you have to take this deal with these aftermarket up sales products the aftermarket coating and alarms system are already on the car. Someone else is already approved of this exact same offer. You must take this deal or nothing. So, why are they selling a car that someone else is approved and ready to buy? Sounds like a high-pressure last-minute xx line to me. Why the bait and switch? Also, if these after market products are already on the car. Its false advertising. The price is listed on the internet and it dosent reflect in the ad. I will look into this with my lawyer. Maybe that is standard business practices at Arron Ford. Maybe it’s taught all the way from the top. I'll let you imagine the rest. A few choice words, I’m not proud of. But they knew their scam was not going to work on me. So, in conclusion. If you want an honest company that won’t try and scam you. Stay away from Arron Ford. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME!!! More
Local Guide·49 reviews·13 photos Do not use this dealership sent all documents as requested when I arrive they tell me they will not accept my driver license, that was issued by the California BMV b dealership sent all documents as requested when I arrive they tell me they will not accept my driver license, that was issued by the California BMV because it's a digital license . They said do you have a picture of your license which would be fraud but the legitimate digital from the DMV isn't good enough... So I could break the law and they will sell me a car but having a legal license prevents me from purchase. Do not waste your time with this joke of a business, well unless you want to commit fraud then this is your place .. I will be sending an invoice for my Uber ride since you called and told me everything was fine and then deny my sale for actually possessing my legal document and not a fraud More

Backstory: I took my truck in for its 30000 mile service a couple of weeks ago. While it was being serviced, the lift had an extension failure and the truck slipped, damaging the passenger-side running boar a couple of weeks ago. While it was being serviced, the lift had an extension failure and the truck slipped, damaging the passenger-side running board. Mike Rogers explained to me what had happened and set up an appointment for me to bring the truck back in for repairs a couple of weeks later, after I had returned from a trip. The appointment was for 0800 on April 17. I dropped the truck off early, around 0600, then went to work and waited for the call telling me the truck was ready. And waited. And waited. As near as I can tell, the work involved in the repair is removing 24 nuts, taking off the old parts, replacing them, and tightening 24 nuts. Maybe some of the studs were also damaged and had to be replaced. I don’t know. And that’s my gripe with this establishment. I don’t know. They don’t call and let you know what’s going on. You call them, and eventually you get routed to voicemail. You will get a call back, eventually. I ask Mike for more information, which he promises to get for me, but then I don’t get a call back so it’s voicemail xxxx again for me. I get a call back. The truck will be ready by 1530-1400. Why so long? Well, maybe it will be ready sooner, let me check. No callback. I check again. It will be ready about 1630, and we will bring it to your work! Great. But 1630 comes along, and no calls. I call them. Voicemail! Finally, at 1650 I got text saying they were on their way with my truck and by 1710 it arrived. The work they did was acceptable, though I have yet to get on my back and inspect it from the underside. They appeared to have washed my vehicle, somewhat. There were places along the body that they missed, and they hadn’t cleaned the bird poop off the driver-side mirror. That’s my main gripe with Aaron Ford of Poway. They do acceptable work, but it takes them too xxxx long for anything more complex than a standard maintenance service. And, they can’t seem to give a good estimate of how long the work will take. THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Contacted this dealership about a van we saw online, made an appointment to see it this morning. Met our sales person who pulled the van up for us to Contacted this dealership about a van we saw online, made an appointment to see it this morning. Met our sales person who pulled the van up for us to inspect. While we are looking at the van another salesman walks up with 2 people and starts looking at the same van. Our guy takes my license inside to get okayed for a test drive. When we get inside the van I say to our salesman wow that was really rude of the other salesman and made sure that we had first priority for the vehicle since we were there first and he assured us we did. We took a nice long test drive then looked at our car for a possible trade-in. We go inside and see the other people sitting at a desk with rude salesman and when we get to the office of our guy we find out the other guy wrote up sales contract on the van while we were test driving it!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Sales manager claimed they have first come first serve policy but that was not the case. We were definitely first but were undermined by an unethical salesman and the dealership allowed him to do it. I would never do business with this dealership and would not recommend them to anyone else. Buyer beware!! More
