I had one of the worst dealership experiences ever with ALM Nissan of Newnan. I found a pre-owned Nissan Titan on their website and submitted an online request for availability and an out-the-door price si ALM Nissan of Newnan. I followed up with a phone call, and a salesperson confirmed the truck was available and that a sales manager would send me the pricing. Instead, I received an unrelated text asking if I was still looking to trade my car (which I never mentioned). After waiting seven hours with no response, I called again, and they apologized, saying the manager would contact me ASAP. The next morning, I got another call from a different salesperson asking if I was still in the market—meaning no one had even followed up on my original request. She apologized, said she saw my request in the system, and promised to have the manager contact me. Another full day passed, and still no response. I called a fourth time, only to be transferred to another person. After explaining my situation again, the person hung up on me! It is clear that the employees at ALM Nissan of Newnan lack proper training and professionalism, and their management fails to monitor their staff or ensure basic customer service standards. If this is how they treat potential buyers, I can only imagine what happens after a purchase. Avoid ALM Nissan of Newnan at all costs! More
Lengthy but WORTH THE READ! I purchased a new car in December and was there for 7 hours. I was never offered a drink or even got shown to where the restroom was. Anthony, salesman, horrible, stayed on phone during the whole process. We came to an agreement, Jacob, Sales Mgr, I was given a pmt amt, agreed went to finance and off to get my car, which was dark at this time. I asked Anthony about the features, and he said he knew nothing about the features on this type of car. It was dark so I left. I never received a call from anyone asking me about the sale! I never got a 2nd key because I was told they lost it after Anthony telling me it would be overnighted next day. I had to get it remade at my inconvenience a week ago. (A nightmare) I had a professional look over my paperwork and they noticed a $3300 fee was added for GAP and Ext warranty/cov incl. I denied that and noticed that's where Jacob, SM snuck it in because he told me what my car pmt was and that included ext warranty/gap without my permission or knowledge! I called Finance immediately and was given the form to cancel but that's all they could do. Well..... I noticed my hood looked as if the paint was coming off and now the whole electrical system was not working. At this point, I spoke to the GM, JP, and scheduled time for me to come in and have all this looked out by SerM, Tripp. On 1/25, noon, I drove an hour to go have my paint and electrical panel looked at, along with an knowledgeable person to go over the features. I then meet with Tripp, ServM, going over everything once again and letting them know about the car going in reverse. They said they thought I was joking. Seriously!! Who would joke about this! In the meantime, I getting with JP, The GM and Tripp, ServM, and they said they would take care of everything. I was waiting about 2 hours, never got an update, so, I walked in and told them I was going to walk nextdoor for lunch. I was never offered a shuttle or another vehicle to drive. I walked back over after lunch about an hour later and still no update. While I was waiting, I thought I would check on my cancellation on my gap/ext warranty I was charged, that I had filled out on 12/18 to cancel to only to find out it was never cancelled! They did not send in the cancellation until that day I arrived, 1/25. Luckily I have all my correspondence. My car was ready 4 hours later. I walked around the car to look it over and it looked as if definitely not detailed properly, which you know they ADD in $850 for prep when you purchase a car!! Mine was not! I then went to find JP and we then went to speak to Tripp. I asked Tripp in front of JP what was wrong with the electrical system and Tripp said there was nothing wrong with it. JP gave me a whole 1 free oil change. Which I won't even trust them to do that. So that is useful to me) And, I was supposed to get that in writing before I left but apparently they all disappeared on me! I finally got someone there to show me the features of the car, but they could not because the electrical system still did not work! I spoke to Jacob and he said "I didn't build the car" And I said well you represent it, don't you? Silence. I then had to leave with electrical system still not working because not a soul would help me and they know it is a SAFETY issue!! They didn't seem to care! If I didn't definitely need a car immediately, I so wish I could turn back time and walked out without purchasing and going through xxxx! After the sale they're done, can add more at my limit Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. They have you fill out the review while you are purchasing your vehicle by who to mention and basically what to say. It is a form you fill in is all it is. After my husband finally approached someone and got the runaround we were helped by a wonderful sales lady Marie. Both her and Jabob the finance manager were amazing through a difficult process. The problem came when it was time to sign the paperwork with Chris Brown. Who admitted he was new to that location, but not the process. He did properly put our contract together. The interest rate kept changing, and so did the monthly payment, and due date. We finally got everything settled, signed, and went on our way. We received multiple calls and texts about a week after the purchase stating that the paperwork was still incorrect and because of that he could not file our tags and such. Come to find out instead of listing myself as the buyer (as it should have been) they listed my husband even though that is not how we signed the original paperwork. So in order to have his butt he had us to agree to another credit check with a different lender so that I could be listed as the buyer. Now here we are about a month after the original purchase learning that he still submitted the new paperwork with my husband as the primary even though that is not how it was signed. I recall him telling me that most lenders don't care who is listed as primary on the paperwork as long as it is correct in the system. Of course, we can't see what was filed in the system and only have the paperwork to go off of. But I feel so taken advantage of by the fault and error of his mistake that I no longer will even consider Nissan as a whole in the future. Not only is the buyer/co-buyer situation incorrect we still have not received that the tag for the car, the due date of the payment based of his word is still incorrect, and I have yet been able to schedule for the car tint that was purchased as a part of the sell after multiple attempts. I get that the sales business is all about the numbers, but the outright lies and coverups by Chris Brown is beyond anything I have ever experienced, and its ashamed that Nissan would employee such a fraud.
