Worst experience I ever had I will never buy a Kia again. After an attempted theft of my Kia for the THIRD time. I got my ignition switched to a push to start at another dealership. After I got my ignition switched the mechanic notified me everything was great but my battery died after attempted theft. My car is a 2023 so obviously I have a warranty so I towed my car to Kia to get my battery replaced. As soon they recognized the push to start switch the tone was negative. After looking at it they just ASSUMED the previous mechanic was having a wiring issue. They charged me a diagnostic fee even though my warranty covers it. The rep send me a message saying my battery is fine but they can keep testing to try to see if it will die. After about two weeks I get a message saying my battery is fine and it's probably the wiring issue and I should pay over $1000 to switch back to a key start, I was also notified if I didn't I would need to pick my car up within 72 hours or I would be charged a fee. Once I arrived to Kia I paid the diagnostic fee and asked to speak with a manager, eventually the lead mechanic came and spoke with me. After explaining that no actual diagnosis had been done he assured me he would test the battery again and if not he would do the wire testing to actually identify the issue. Well you won't believe it! The battery was dead! When I came and retrieved my vehicle (at this point I have not drove in a MONTH) , my car started perfectly with no problem. I am furious that I have been without transportation over a BATTERY! Thank you to the service manager for refunding my diagnostic fee. It has been terrible since I have bought this car. I was promised my car would be delivered in a week, well it was not delivered for over a month! And I had to settle for a different color other than the one I ordered! Never buy a Kia here. Never! More
