I was overall impressed with Thornton Hyundai because I was comfortable with the people that I came in contact with. Sam Houston was my sales assistant, his approach to me with his calm, confident manner allowed me to take a look around under no pressure. I have visited dealerships that managed to irritate me quickly. Thornton Hyundai and it's staff made every effort to guide me to the right vehicle. Sam was competent in demonstrating the features of every vehicle that I had interest in. I actually purchased a Sonata, a vehicle that I first thought over my budget. I am really happy with the assitance that led to this purchase. The value is exceptional. Throughout the negotiation of a deal everyone made every effort to make my wife and I comfortable, whether it was with refreshment or respectful treatment and consideration of our feelings. The finance process was also painless, even pleasant. I got a really good interest rate and all financing details completely met my needs. Every promise made was fullfilled. I have had the Sonata a bit over a month and I have not looked back with any disappointment. I have had many unsolicited compliments on the car, including one from the owner of a gas station/food store where I shop. He was very surprised to know the price was so affordable. During this period of time I had an oil change done and an accessory agreed to at purchase time added. Making an appointment with Anthony, my service assistant was easy and was fit to my time schedule, Anthony even arranged a vehicle for me to drive. I was very pleased that I recieved my car back in a timely fashion and it been detailed impeccably. I have bought several new vehicles before from various Chevrolet and Oldsmobile dealerships, I have plenty of comparisons and without doubt this was the most pleasant buying experience that I have had. As a side note, Sam took the time to explain all of the various features of the car including setting up the Blue Tooth connection for my cell phone, I was was able to make hands free phone calls before I ever left the dealership. I suggest that if you are considering a new vehicle, consider Hyundai and give Sam Houston at Thornton Hyundai a call. More

This was the worst shopping experience imaginable. I visited thornton road Hyundia after leaving carmax. The sales men showed me a car that was tailored to my needs. I began the paper work with a gentleman named Derrel. After signing everything and paying the down payment I drove off the lot. A week and a half later Derrel contacted me saying "You are going to have to return the car TODAY." He then stated that he couldn't find a bank to accept the loan. So these guys gave me enough time to switch my insurance and get tags to take the car back. In addition, they are deciding to hold my down payment for 15 days. So they took my vehicle and the means for me to get another. People dont waiste your time with this dealership because they are the typical xxxx bags that give all used car dealers a bad name. More
As a retired Deputy Sheriff I have survived by reading people. I found the level of honesty and concern to provide excellent service to be genuine at this dealership. We purchased a new sonata from Ken Flanagan, during the sales process we met David Booth the GM. It was very hot that day and Ken made sure that the cars we drove were cooled down and provided us with cold bottled water, making sure we were comfortable. Mr Booth impressed my wife with his true southern gentleman deamenor, and impressed me with his willingness to provid a truly great deal. We were so impressed that about a month later I purchased another new sonata for myself. I have used the service facility at this dealer and found the service to be excellent. Having been a service manager myself I know the difference between being taken care of and being ripped off. We were well taken care of. What can I say if you want honesty and good service I would highly reccomend Thornton Road Hyundai. More

When I sat down with the sales person, I was immediately asked what I wanted my payments to be. Dealerships that use this tactic infuriate me. Are they trying to hide something in the paper work? Also, when it came down to price of the vehicle and the trade-in, they were no where close to what another dealership was offering (over $2,500 difference). More
