Because we were in a hurry to buy there was a bit of confusion.It took two days for the car to get to us, didn't fully understand the required maintanence schedule, didn't get a remote for the car initially. Eventually it was all resolved, and we were treated well. Got a CPO and still had it checked by our mechanic and we found out that they hadn't flushed the transmission, which wasn't a big deal- they did it when we asked them to. Oh, also the CPO purchase does not include mats, so you may want to negotiate that. Overall decent experience. More

Through my many visits to Thornton Road Hyundai and my constant mind-changing on which vehicle I wanted, the sales staff was patient and helpful, and didn't try to steer me away from the points of utmost importance to me: value, looks, and mpg. Though I'm a very finicky and frugal shopper, Sam Houston and Taurus made it a point to meet me more than half way to seal the deal and make me a happy customer. Sam Houston located the car I was searching for, and that was no small feat since it's in rare supply. I called him Wednesday around noon and asked if he could locate a red 2012 Elantra and have it brought to the dealership that evening. That evening, there it was on the lot, just brought in. Taurus gave me the price I wanted and made the signing process so speedy I couldn't believe it. He's got the entire process down to a science. Sam filled up my new car with gas, had the car polished like a gem, explained all the bells and whistles of the car -- from Bluetooth and daytime-running lights to maintenance schedules and XM radio, and off I went! I feel as though I didn't just buy a new car, but that I made some really good friends in the process. More
Our car search for an SUV actually began a few months ago, in October. We were referred to this dealership from a long time friend that had recently bought a new vehicle to replace her old car that she ago, in October. I was impressed by the deal she got and knew that it would be worth checking out. My wife and I were met by the same salesman that our friend had dealt with, Jeff Cole. I typically do not enjoy dealing with car dealerships and all that bad hype that surrounds selling me a vehicle. Many times I will opt for buying a used car from a private individual. Definitely do not like pressure with sales of anything. I was quickly at ease with Jeff when it was not his ultimate goal to sell me a car from their lot more than seeing that I get what is what I want and works for me. Even if that vehicle was elsewhere. We had the opportunity to test drive a couple that day including a brand new 2012 model. There was also another dealership associated with the Thornton Road Hyundai, that was located in Douglasville, that had a very nice used model with all the features we liked. We actually took the test drive vehicle from the Thornton Road dealership along with Jeff Cole to the other dealership to look at the vehicle on their lot. It was extremely nice for a used vehicle but our working a deal kinda went south when it was discovered that the car fax on the vehicle we wanted to trade in was really bad showing a structural wreck when it was brand new that depreciated the value several thousands of dollars. Dealerships typically don't offer good value for cars with a bad car fax. We attempted to sell the vehicle on our own but with no success - at least not for what we felt it was worth. Almost a month went by and then we received a call from Jeff informing us of some great deals the dealership had that day. My wife went there in the afternoon and called me at work saying they had some great used SUV's worth me coming and checking out. Long story short, we ended up trading in the vehicle with the bad fax, with this dealership, for a pre-certified 2011 Hyundai Sante Fe with less features than we had originally desired but the whole deal and trade-in made it worth not passing it up. Seriously. We ended up with a vehicle 3 years newer, completely covered with vehicle warranty, absolutely no worries, and paying the same car payment as what we had on the trade-in AND at a interest rate half of what was on the previous loan. The SUV is just what we wanted for now and our plan is to trade this up for a 2012 or 2013 Hyundai SUV with additional features next year. I was absolutely blown away with how this all transpired and it would not have been possible without the sincere effort that Jeff Cole showed in our behalf. Extremely one of the best experiences I have ever had buying a vehicle. More

I had a wonderful experience buying my car from Hyundai. Tyran was great. He had the car waiting for me to test drive & got me the price range that I wanted. The gentleman in finance [I forget his name & his card is at home :-)] but he was extremely pleasant & efficent. I can not beleive how fast everything went. Returned to this dealership after wreaking my 8 month old Sonata. Great customer service the first time and superior customer service the second time. I returned to purchase another Sonata because between the Good Lord and the safety of the Sonata I am here today. I was cut from the car and the car was deemed a total loss, yet, I have no broken bones or serious injuries. I was evaluated at the tram center and walked out of the ER in 3 hours with great news regarding my injuries. There was a one foot intrusion into the door buy none in the cabin. I called the dealership 3 days later and was told to come in at my convenience and they would help me through the process of filing for my Gap insurance and finding me a replacement car. The process was smooth and easy, no pressure and a great selection to choose from. I drove away with a newer Sonata with more goodies and better financing. I love this dealersip and received excellent service from the serve department with my first car. I highly recommend Thornton Road Hyundai and all the knowledgeable personal. More
