I went in to look at down sizing my vehicle to something a little smaller for my daughter to drive back and forth to school.they didnt really have anything I was looking for but I left my name and number in a little smaller for my daughter to drive back and forth to school.they didnt really have anything I was looking for but I left my name and number in case they got something in the next few days.Then my phone wouldnt stop ringing I bet every manager called my at least 4 times a day and the salesman about the same each day begging my to bring my 2003 dodge durango slt which I bought new with only 96000 miles on it.This vehicle has been well maintained and in excellent condition.They kept bugging me to let them appraise it and they would give me top dollar for it(more then anyone else would give) In the last year I put new tires on it ($800.00) and a new transmission ($2200.00)This vehicle is pretty much loaded and even has the 5.9 v8. I was looking at trading it on a 2005 santa fe which they had one of their orange tags in the window stating they were asking $14,900 and was reduced to $12,900 I wanted to see what they were going to offer me on my car.The didnt know that the internet asking price on the one they were trying to sell me was advertised at $9,900. They came to the table wanting $12,000 for theirs and offered me $1,500. for mine. So I just stood up and told them dont think so give me my keys so I can leave and the salesman kept telling me to sit down and lets talk about it. I told him that I know what my car is worth on KBB and NADA and know what theirs is worth also and I was clearly insulted by what they were offering me and i wanted to leave.I had to ask for my keys atleast 20 times and then get angry with the manager and salesman before I finally got them.They will lie to get you in there and then try to rip you off.I pride myself and have raised my children to be honest and did not like feeling like they thought I was an idiot and had no idea the values of things.If they would have come to the table with an offer for mine that was close to book value then I would have made them give me the internet price and bargained from there but 1500.00 for a car thats worth almost $8000.00 I new there was no bother trying to talk to them.All I can say is they can not be trusted.And dont trust the ratings that are based on 24 months of service when they have been open for less then a year. When I first visited TRH, I was just starting my search for a new SUV/Wagon. The Tuscon looked like it might fit the bill. I work with animals and need room for crates and equipment in the rear. Mr. Jackson was personable, showed me several options and some of the nicer used cars avaialble. Great Service, but I was kind of in sticker shock. About a month later, the transmission goes on my 23 y/o Buick, so I immediately go the the TRH website and they have a unit I like. I called Keith right away. we set up an appointment. I get there, the unit I called on is there and he also has an Escape coming in on trade that day. I drive both, they are clean and serviced, I decide to purchase the Escape. The process was smooth, the price fair, They are more than willing to let me mechanic inspect mail out/email it the next day. I'm thinking, Wow what a good dealership. The transaction is completed the following day - all cash. and I'm a happy camper. Now the problems start. It is getting close to the 30 days on my temporary tag. I stop by the dealershp and find out they don't have it - seems they never got clear title at the time it was traded in. I'm getting ready to go out of state and need my plate. They are very sorry, but they cant give me an extension, I would have to go stand in line at the tag office. NOT ACCEPTABLE. They will TRY to get the signature needed, and then I would have to go to the tag office. Again, Not Acceptable. I finally got a Manager involved and after another 30 minutes he suggests a dealer plate. It took another 10 days to get my paperwork and I still had to go to the tag office myself. Since then, Customer followup has been ZILCH, I mean, I only spent $13K 1. "Thank You for your business" Card NO 2. Phone call from Salesperson to follow up, ask for more business NO 3. Monthly mail out/email with Service specials, and ask for referral NO So Basically, Service after the sale isnt going to happen. More
We had such a positive experience from the time we drove in to the parking lot. Anthony Williams was our salesman and he was wonderful. We were originally there to look for an Accent but when we found one we liked we found out it had already been sold earlier that morning. Anthony and the sales manager tried their best making phone calls and looking online at other dealerships to try to find one that met our criteria. While we were waiting we looked at the Elantras and found one in our price range. The entire process was smooth and easy, never any pressure. Anthony was very knowledgable and explained every handbook and brochure that was given to us. He even set up our bluetooth for us. He definitely went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend him and your dealership to family and friends. We never had such a positive car buying experience, EVER! We love our Elantra and hope to have it for several years. He would'nt even give me a chance to ask him why they were going to rip me off $1200 right from the start, much let alone try to work a deal with me. I'm 52 year's old and have bought about fifteen to twenty car's and have never been treeted like that by any car salesman in doing so. It's wrong for a car dealership to rip custermer's off by charging for washing and waxing a car and as far as interior protection, there is no such thing! Any way we went to a different dealer in Marietta and spent about three hour's there talking with the salesman that took his time with us and let us look at several model's. We did'nt end up buying a car though because we could'nt come to terms on my trade. Also the dealership did'nt have the extra $1200 mark up sticker on the window! Too bad for this car dealer ship and Sam, we will never set foot on their lot again!!! More

Out of town, needed Hyundai repair. Thornton was the only dealer In Atlanta that offered to take a look at our car. I cannot believe how poorly Hyundai treats their customers, but Thornton went above and bey dealer In Atlanta that offered to take a look at our car.
