He found the perfect truck for fitting my budget with all the features I wanted plus some. I drove my trade ins down from Chattanooga, TN and drove the truck and committed to the truck, but Mike wanted to the service department to go over the truck before I left Atlanta. He gave me a loaner car to drive back while the service department went over my truck and when my truck was finished, he brought it to me. No other dealership or sales person would have given me that type of service in Chattanooga, let alone 150 miles away. I will only do business with Mike and Thornton Rd Hyundai from this point forward. The customer service and buying experience was amazing. More

Hyundai Dealership FRAUD (Selling Water Damaged Vehicles) I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from the Lithia Springs Hyundai on Thornton Road on November 26th, 2014. The car was new when I purchased it. On D I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from the Lithia Springs Hyundai on Thornton Road on November 26th, 2014. The car was new when I purchased it. On December 23rd I noticed that my break lights would not turn off after having parked and removed the key.I struggled to find a solution to avoid draining the battery by leaving the lights on. I ultimately decided to leave the lights on because I had a trip scheduled to visit family during the holidays (December 24th-January3rd). I was forced to leave the car at my house in its present state. When I reached my destination on December 24th I called Hyundai (Lithia Springs) to tell them about the issues and to ask them how they wanted to handle this issue. The service representative told me to bring the car in on January 3rd. When I returned to Georgia I brought the car to Hyundai (Thornton Road). While driving the vehicle I could smell a strong odor reminiscent of spoiled milk. When I arrived at the dealership they examined the car and initally told me that the issue was with the break clutch not depressing properly. After the technician replaced this part he returned to tell me that he was unable to correct the issue and that he suspected it to be an electrical issue. He requested that I leave the car with him so that it could be worked on and placed me in a loaner vehicle. I received a call today (January 6th, 2015) and was told that the issue had been isolated and that the car was not sealed properly and water had caused the electrical issues I was having. Mr. Donald Lampkin told me that the car would need to have the windshield removed, carpet removed, dried, and resealed. I expressed my concern with this and let him know that I wanted the car replaced immediately, to which he did not reply. I called back to speak with the manager Mr. Rob Willis. He told me that Hyundai manufacturing would most likely not replace my brand new vehicle and that all he could do was try to fix the issues. I received a follow up call today (January 7th, 2015) from Mr. Tory Arlington. He confirmed that my car did have electrical issues in addition to mold and mildew in the carpets of the vehicle. He stated that Hyundai will not replace my vehicle even though the vehicle was clearly showing manufacturer defects. I am truly unhappy and want my money back or a brand new car. I have developed respiratory issues that I strongly believe are related to this vehicle. I am dissapointed that Hyundai would treat a customer this way and put my health and livelyhood in jeopardy. I havent even driven this car 1,000 miles and not only am I without a car, but I am still being forced to pay for a car that was garbage when I bought it. Hyundai needs to give me my money back or replace my vehicle! More
Devastation at it's finest! Buying a car can be a very time consuming, stressful but also exciting experience. You know going in that you are dealing with Sales people and ultima Buying a car can be a very time consuming, stressful but also exciting experience. You know going in that you are dealing with Sales people and ultimately the "sale" is what they care about. My experience at this dealership is one that will go down in history and whomever I can stop from going here will be a small victory for me. I am a single parent of one child, college student and full time worker, of two jobs, so my time is needless to say, very valuable. My debacle, with this dealership, started about 2 weeks ago. I was referred here by a very close friend who has recently purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. I was more than excited to see what they could do for me. I went in, alone, knowing what vehicle I wanted down to the color and features. I was helped by Sales person, Henry Parmer, who was actually very pleasant and helpful, it was when finance(business managers) got involved that I was treated like a second class citizen. I was "approved" for the loan on a new 2015 Sonata Limited with my trade and I took possession of the vehicle on Monday 12/29 at about midnight; I had been in the dealership since about 5:30p that day. I was very excited about my new car and relieved to have the burden of my former car now off of me. Upon meeting with the "business manager" Taurus(I don't know his last name), he seemed nice in that sales person sort of way, but nonetheless I was confident in my new deal. We went over the contract and I signed numerous papers. Because I read EVERYTHING I sign, I recalled one form that states something about I was taking the car on the "contingency that the loan would be approved". I immediately questioned Taurus about this form and specifically asked him was my loan approved because if it was not I didn't want to be one of those people that get a car and then have to bring it back. Taurus assured me that my loan was approved and the only people who have those type of situations are those that are dishonest about income, job tenure, residence, etc. I left the dealership that night loving my new car and feeling confident about the deal because I had not been dishonest on any of my paperwork. I drove around and became attached to "my" new car for about 5 days until Friday morning, while out with my daughter, I received a call from Taurus where he stated; "Good morning Ms. Gordon, congratulations, I have your deal all worked out! I just need you to come in and re-sign the contract; I had to print a new form with your address on it" - I was ecstatic! I asked him(Taurus) about how long this would take since I had errands to run that day and he stated no more than a few minutes. My daughter and I arrived to the dealership about an hour and a half later and were told to have a seat and wait because Taurus was with a customer. Fast forward, two and half hours later, my daughter and I are just sitting and waiting when we are approached by a man named "George" whom I've never met before. George asks me to follow him into some office where he commences to giving me a sales talk about fees, etc. He then goes into the "acquisition" fee for taking my trade and how it is now $4200, which was incomprehensible to me!! This fee that after 5 days of riding in this car is now affecting my deal and how he is on my side and a bunch of other xx that was irrelevant because I am sitting here with my child and was brought into the office on false pretenses and lies. So I question the phone call I received from Taurus where he clearly stated the deal was done and all I needed to do was sign paperwork. Apparently that was a lie and I was baited to the dealership to be given this terrible news. I did not have an extra $5000 laying around and to be led to think my deal was complete then blindsided with this was extremely devastating. So there, in the rain, my 11 year old and I were made to take our things out of the new car and our old car was pulled around; but to make amends we were "awarded" a full tank of gas in our old car! I feel like everyone at this dealership lied to me when I was completely open and honest about everything in my life and finances. I even said; "if this deal isn't complete, please do not let me take this car"- I was constantly assured that my deal was done and "we wouldn't give you the car if we weren't sure you were "good". The people at this dealership successfully devastated me and my child and I will never, ever recommend or shop with this brand again. I will also tell any and everyone who will listen of my terrible and humiliating experience there. More

He listened, responded appropriately, asked insightful questions and then gave us the best and most complete explanation of features/benefits on the car we wanted to know about.
