DO NOT BUY from ALM. I unfortunately am left with a broken vehicle with only 36,000 miles. After contacting the company over 20 times, there was always the message "we will call you back." The company showed zero help with a very expensive vehicle bought. DO NOT BUY from this company!!! However, there is a windshield problem that I told the ALM Service Manager about and it was never addressed. Zaid, always has an attitude as if you're disturbing him by expecting him to be an actual service manager. There were a few other minimal things I asked to have fixed. Zaid promised he would "have his guys fix". It was never addressed. It's incredible how once my loan was funded, he would not return my calls. The salesman, Louis, is great, unfortunately he is subject to bad ratings because the organization does not take care of the customers after they get paid for the deal. Although Louis is awesome, I can not recommend ALM to anybody for future business. Did I mention that I work in the banking side of the car business and manage over 300 dealers across the country? I recommend dealers to people all the time when asked where to go. The entire ALM company is now on a company I explicitly recommend as a place TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH. The dealership also charges almost $3000 for a paint protection product that is on the vehicle before they sell it. It costs them 0.00, but force you to pay $3000. I have made this dame rating on many dealer rated and consumer report websites. I will personally go out of my way to steer people away from the entire ALM company in every state they have a dealership. 5 stars for Louis in Sales, 1 star for Zaid in Service Update, I sent an email to ALM. as requested. It's been several days and I haven't heard anything from them... Shocker. Although, I've had a conversation with the GIADA. As it turns out a dealer is not supposed to sell a car with a blemished windshield especially when the blemish is in the line of sight of the driver. It looks like a law suit situation More
ALM-Gwinnett, they did not inspect the car based on the Motor Trend warranty brochure. And they will charge you ($2k) for this service that they do not perform. Get the car you buy independently inspected Motor Trend warranty brochure. And they will charge you ($2k) for this service that they do not perform. Get the car you buy independently inspected ASAP. I've spent $2500 repairing the issues that the Motor Trend inspection would have discovered. More
Terrible customer service post sale. Didn't register my vehicle for 70 days which is illegal. I had to stop driving my vehicle and get the temp tag extended TWICE. Called the dealership to ask why this was happening and never got an answer or a call back. Just got put on hold or told to drive without it being registered. Another thing. This dealership specializes in manufacture buybacks/lemon law vehicles so because of the risky nature of these cars no bank or credit union will finance these vehicles. If you want one you have to pay cash or use dealership financing which is horrid. The rates are 3-4x what my credit union quoted, but no one touches these vehicles so you are SOL. I would never recommend this place due to terrible customer service post sale, terrible finance rates even for someone with an 800+ credit score and the fact I had to stop driving my car because they wouldn't register it or tell me why. There are too many dealerships out there to water your time and money with people who don't value customers and the service that goes along with car sales. More
