last year, after an auto accident i have to look a family vehicle. after two months search i found a van at this dealership. at the time of signing the paper they offered me to buy a warranty. the finance of vehicle. after two months search i found a van at this dealership. at the time of signing the paper they offered me to buy a warranty. the finance office gave me fake promises, which later on became a scam when i needed. they said that if any thing happen to this van they will give me rental as well as will take care of the van, which already had 101000 miles on it. i felt that the warranty would be a peace of mind for the next four years when i need it. i paid for this so called warranty almost $ 2900. that was total around $ 11500 i paid at that day. off course, i have to borrow some of the money from my family. after four months passed the van started giving me problem. i have hard time to start the van. i checked the starter and the battery out but they both were fine. the problem still there. i took the van one of warranty company' authorized service center for the first time, who did the diagnosis. the guy gave me the estimate of $1900 from which i have to pay $700 for the parts and the service which were not covered under the warranty. this was the starting point when i thought that i made a critical mistake to buy this warranty. i called the company who told me that this is not a warranty, guaranty or insurance. this is a service contract, which has it own rules, regulations and conditions. i took van back because i was not expecting this kind of response. further, after few weeks the van stopped. i had to send the van to a Honda dealership to do the diagnosis. they did not except others' diagnosis, which i already paid. the service manager told me that van needed a 100,000 miles service included time belt and other components to be replaced. he gave me estimate of around $2000, which he said the company will not pay because i did not do the regular maintenance. i went back to the dealership who sold me this van after it has 1001000 on it. they refused to do any thing regardless they knew the service should been done before they selling the van to someone. i ask you a question. suppose you buying something and also you know that you have to spend another $ 1000 or so in next few months to run your ride. would you buy the so called warranty or even would you buy this ride? i know your answer. now i decided to do something fight back against this fraudulent purchase. i contacted to DMV, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, CONSUMER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT, LAWYERS, SMALL CLAIM COURTS. in the mean time i have to take the van back and gave to someone else to repair it who personally offered me warranty that if his done work give me problem in the future he will do the service for free. DMV is looking into this dealership's fraudulent deals, BBB also still in touch with me, lawyers encouraged me to go to the small claim courts, which is my next step. I've paid another $2000 to fix the van without any company's help plus $2900 which i paid to the company. i learned my lessen, never trust verbally promises. you need to let them write down on the paper. do not do just the car fax, look into other problems which are not reported or need to be done before you buy it. i would never recommend this dealership to anyone either to my friends or anyone else. you may look my response with the company at Better Business Bureau' web site. Though this happened months ago, i am compelled to write about my experience with this business after reading so many bad reviews. Called 3 times to check availability of a black Mercury SUV and was told th about my experience with this business after reading so many bad reviews. Called 3 times to check availability of a black Mercury SUV and was told that it was. Took 50 min drive there to wait in line. No one greeted me. After 20 minutes a mid 40's salesman finally asked what I was looking for... I explained myself and off to the lot we went. Waited patiently as he tried to find the black Mercury SUV. No success after 15 minutes of back and forth talk on walky-talkies/push-to-talk cell phones with his associates. So he tried to sell me a white ford SUV and said it was the exact same thing. It was white. Had tons of scratches. Moved on to the next vehicle and it was another ford SUV, but green and had a broken tail light. I quickly glanced over at the cars next to each other and realized every other car I could see had something wrong with it. I asked the salesman, and he replied that they take parts from these cars to fix other cars of the same model. So I asked "what about these cars then?? That no longer have the parts you've taken ??" Had no straight answer. It was such a bunch of bullsh. The last SUV he showed me was actually a Mercury Mariner, maroon. Not the color I wanted but had no cosmetic flaws. It was promising. Until I looked under the hood. I could see the trail where oil had been leaking all over the contact of the valve cover and head. After seeing this, I realize that this business was a joke and I started to think and feel bad for the suckers who paid hard earned money for these crap cars. I knew it was time to leave but before i left i even questioned the salesman about a turbo STi on the lot. It looked nice. He told me that it is one of the fastest 6 cylinder cars out there. What a ....... Way to know your product. I was so fed up, I decided to walk back to the Main lot building where my crap, but better than their cars, corolla was parked. BBB rating is an "F" to date and it also says that BBB has confronted them about all the complaints, but ABWautos refuses to acknowledge or do anything about their terrible service. More
They used my debit card without my permission. When I tried to rectify the situation, Michael used vile language with me and called me "stupid". He told me that it was my problem that I didn't read the backside of the contract. I wasn't there for the transaction. He used my card -- which was unsigned. He didn't ask for permission. He wouldn't let me speak to anyone else. I had to call Bank of America's Fraud Department. Awful, awful customer service at this car service place. Feel free to email me for details. I went to purchase a car. I was looking at a car for $6000. I was handed to a man who was 23 years old, had jeans on that were exposing his rear privates and spoke disrespectfully. He treated me like $6000. I was handed to a man who was 23 years old, had jeans on that were exposing his rear privates and spoke disrespectfully. He treated me like one of his street buddies, would not fasten his seat belt after four requests and a communication that fastening his belt would make me, the customer, more comfortable, while I was driving on the test drive. To boot ~ $ 800 conveyance fee on a $6000 car. Enough said, I will NEVER set foot back in this place again ~ More

The office looks more like a welfare line than a car dealership, wear boots, seriously, for the mud on the lot. Half the stuff showing on line is already sold. They are all low end auction cars, and dealership, wear boots, seriously, for the mud on the lot. Half the stuff showing on line is already sold. They are all low end auction cars, and the salesman refused to let us test drive unless we committed to buy. Another salesman took his card back because we asked too many questions. Oh, and add $800 to the price for "dealer something", or false advertizing as I like to call it. More

Firstly let me say that Sean was helpful and did everything he could. He even delivered the vehicle to my door from there to NJ. The after sales service has been nothing but a nightmare. \You pa everything he could. He even delivered the vehicle to my door from there to NJ. The after sales service has been nothing but a nightmare. \You pay for an amazing vehicle check. When I checked the vehicle upon receipt I found that the brake and oil level were low. Was it checked? You pay for registration of your vehicle. It is now two months later and I still have not received it. I am made false promises of a solution but this is not happening. It is a shame that Sean works so hard to be let down by his back office. Next time I will pay the perceived savings by buying from a reputable dealer nearby. More
