But if you must know what happened, read on below for my sad, pathetic story.... *** This past weekend I put a $1,000 deposit for a used 2016 car from this dealership with the intent on purchasing the car the next day. I spoke with a saleswoman Mona, who worked the deal with me the evening before. She claimed the deposit would be non-refundable but led me to believe the car was, in her own words, "good to go!" There was a similar car that I was interested in and wanted to make sure I could keep my options open in case I wanted that car instead. She had checked the carfax on this car and said it was good and had no issues. This is where I made my mistake because I assumed that they check the CarFax on every car and only sell cars that "check out" based on the car fax. It wasn't until I decided to pay for my own CarFax later and discovered the car was a rental and had several accidents. Naturally, I canceled the deal, but they refused to refund my deposit. So what was really going on here? This dealership clearly knew the car they were selling was bad but conveniently left out that info from their advertisement. Of course, they said they didn't have to give me that information as they are not required to give you the history of the car. But how else could they sell the car unless you don't know? They waited for a sucker like me to trust them and in good faith provide a deposit for a car that obviously isn't worth anything. My guess is that they are making more money on the deposits for that car than actually selling that car. On top of that, they said it was my fault for trusting them in the first place and not checking the CarFax first. A nearby dealership in Waterbury warned me about this dealership and I didn't listen (Aren't they all liars?). So now I'm talking to a lawyer but so far it doesn't look hopeful for me to get back my deposit because apparently the law clearly protects them. As if a business has to be protected from the consumer? Haha, only in America! More
2014 Explorer Sport I was not impressed after my initial visit to the dealership. I made an appointment to see a car I had found using the true car buying service. On top of that, the car I was supposed to see was in the shop. After an hour of waiting, another rep without an appointment sat down with me. We made arrangements to see the car when it was out of the shop. Fast forward, I'm on my way to the dealership. I called ahead and was assured that my car was ready to be test driven. Upon arrival, my rep was busy. After waiting about an hour for her to find the car on their many lots, it was so at the shop. When I was test driving the car, it was not detailed or washed. That's the end of the bad. THE GOOD! The dealership was very helpful in helping me with my first dealership purchase. All of the staff was very helpful. I was given a great deal on my purchase and all of the issues with the car were addressed. They even put gas in the tank before I left. Overall, it was a bumpy start that led to an excellent end. I would highly recommend this dealer to any of my friends or family. More
Horrible POOR customer service I have try numerous times contact this dealership by email, phone calls to no avail. no one respond my emails or answer my questions! in one occasion I have try numerous times contact this dealership by email, phone calls to no avail. no one respond my emails or answer my questions! in one occasion the lady answer the phone and said just come down, she was busy. i quite don't understand how A BETTER WAY WHOLE SALES said in their website (DEALER RATE) they sell over 4 thousand car a year, but then on Dealer Rate they said they sell 30 cars a day, i did the math equals to 2520 a year. Also they said they stuck over 600 hundred cars, then on the DEALER RATE said they stuck over 500 cars, are this people exaggerating or don't have consistency of what they say. Also in my opinion since they work on commission they care less about low priced cars. be aware of any dealer, sales person who don't answer questions, hide them, go around the bush or ignored the questions. seem fishy!!!! My CAR was taken back to service 7times in 1 Month of purcha This place is a major rip off. They sell customers cars that have major problems. Have a real BMW dealership check out the car prior to purchase. The General Manager is very unprofessional and I will NEVER refer anyone to buy a car from this dealership. They claim that ONLY the owner who is currently out in Palm beach Florida. That only him can give you back your deposit/refund. It takes them weeks to get him to write a check after you give them your hard earn cash. I am going to hire attorney's and file a class action lawsuit against the dealership and General manager. I have never heard all these stories and excuses to get your money back. So I will never ever recommend this dealership to anyone on the planet. My car spent more time in the SERVICE Department than in my garage. Over 7 times in 1 month of purchasing my car from them. They claim they can never provide rentals. Then give people reliable carfax reports and a car that actually works. While they work on your car. They also make you wait hours upon hours to sign paperwork upstairs. DO NOT TRUST THEM when signing. Have your attorney present to review the 100% markup they add onto the original list price of your car!!! They do have some very nice people that TRY very hard like TJ, Onx and Kam are very good people in the Service/Sales department. But the General Manager Mike please Beware of him. However, they come up with the final numbers for your car upstairs. More
