Folks, all I can say is save yourself the aggravation of dealing with this dealership. Too long to explain but the transparency, customer service and Thrift Investment Corp they use for financing, is nothin dealing with this dealership. Don't spend a week of playing ping pong with no answers, no follow up, or no desire for them to sell a car. If you have a good credit rating, they will NOT approve you. They are looking for low credit scores and people with credit issue to stick a 13-29% interest charge to on long term financing and additional fees. Too many good transparent dealerships around to get involved with this runaround. They couldn't even answer basic questions of what conveyance fees or a general breakdown of the cost of the car. Almost one week of stringing me along before I got a letter of denial. That's with a Fico 8 Model of 787. I have five days of transcript that are too long to put on here but trust me. I had to borrow a car to drive a half an hour to East Windsor CT from the Springfield MA area. I had three dealers who had particular vehicles i was interested in, as i need a vehicle soon. Thr first place, i looked at an SUV and considered it, but the guy would not let me take it to my mechanic in MA that i trust before buying, so i had to pass. The second place i walked around their lot for at least 20 minutes, after checking the office to no avail and it was not until i ventured into the back by the repair bay that a mechanic asked if i needed help. He brought me around front and pointed way down the lot and said see thst guy getting out of the car? Go talk to him. I walked over and inquired about a specific vehicle thst was advertised for sale snd asked to see it and he said oh it won't be ready till next Tuesday. This was on a Friday afternoon. Well, WHY is it advertised for sale then? I left thoroughly frustrated after wasting my afternoon so far and drove over to A-1 Auto Sales. They had at least three SUV's I was interested in seeing. I walked around the lot for a bit and located what i think were two of them but not 100% positive. I went into the office and yelled hello. Anyone here Nobody was there. I proceeded to walk the lot front, side and back and saw not one person. Finally after at least a half hour there and two trips into the office with nobody there, i saw a young guy with his head under the hood of a car towards the back and walked over to him. I stood there a minute as not to interrupt his concentration and then finally said excuse me, is there someone i can talk to about several vehicles I'm interested in? He inititially ignored me and finally looked up and mumbled something inaudible for maybe three seconds and buried his head back under the vehicle. I stood there a minute thinking oh he'll look back up but he just ignored me. I took one more quick walk around the lot and one more trip to the office to no avail and he was still buried under the hood of the car so i said to myself oh well i guess they don't want to sell any cars today. I wasted a whole afternoon not to mention gas up and back fo nothing. I won't be going back to A-1 nor the other two places. The customer service at these places is horrible especially A-1 Auto where i received absolutely no customer service at all. I can't believe these places stay in business. I found a place yesterday in Massachusetts closer to my city and they were extremely accomodating and i test drove two vehicles and am very interested in one of them. They stand behind their vehicles and also have no problem with me bringing it to my mechanic to look over before i buy it. Up until now, my car buying experience on here was very underwhelming, as i talked to a guy up the street from me a couple miles with an SIV I was very interested in. I checked it out first after hours and called the place in the morning and the guy seemed nice until i asked if after test driving it, if i could bring to my mechanic right up the street maybe a half mile away. The guy said no mechanics. That's my policy and would not budge. Since I'm no mechanic, i would never ever buy a used vehicle without my mechanic who I've been dealing with for years and trust, to at very least put on his lift to check the frame for rust damage or possibly bent from an accident. I asked are you trying to hide something? The response was mechanics find every little thing. Well, shouldn't i know those before i buy your vehicle Oh yeah and no warranty either. He said ill give you 1000 miles on the engine and transmission, which is basically nothing because if something else is broken and it's not an item they check in Mass inspection, then I'm stuck after giving you all my money for the vehicle and none to repair what you should have fixed before or certainly stand behind after. I'm talking about within 30 days and something more than just an oil change. More
