Over the years I have bought many cars from many dealerships but have finally found one I trust, it was worth the drive from OKC to Stillwater. I am not the kind of person that ever does a review but felt this place deserved one. I went there looking to buy the 2013 Accord, Justin went out of his way to make sure I didn’t feel pressure like I got from others dealerships. Once everything was done, I received a WONDERFUL surprise. They managed to get me the 2014 Accord at the same price with all the same “bells and whistles” as the 2013. They really went extra miles to make sure I got the best car for my money. I will definitely buy my next car from them and highly recommend anyone who is looking to buy a new car should give this team a chance to show you what they can do for you. More
My husband & I were looking for a Ridgeline and had almost given up. We had found one at a dealer in Tulsa, but dealing with that dealer was unsatisfactory. Then our son found a Ridgeline in Stillwat almost given up. We had found one at a dealer in Tulsa, but dealing with that dealer was unsatisfactory. Then our son found a Ridgeline in Stillwater (Barry Sanders Honda and we went to see it. The entire experience was superior to any other car dealership we have EVER HAD, and we own 4 cars. Patrick - the accountant - was so patient with answering my questions when I did not understand the terms. His supervisor stayed late to help us too. Then they arranged for us to have a loaner to get home from Stillwater to Tulsa. Calsey took time to show us the necessary items to make certain we understood the unique items of the truck so we could drive safely - it was after dark after we left. The entire deal was so comfortable in such a lovely setting and we got an excellent price. We do not have our truck yet because they are attaching accessories. I look forward to picking it up. I took my CRV in for service and I have several observations. When my car was delivered the tire pressure light was still illuminated. That tells me the service tech did not do see it on the dash a observations. When my car was delivered the tire pressure light was still illuminated. That tells me the service tech did not do see it on the dash and did not complete that part of the service. The service writer took the car from the island to correct the issue. When a service tech returned the car a couple of minutes later I noticed no protective cover on the floor or the seat. My car smelled of soiled oil filled clothes. I purchased the car at Bob Howard and never paid over $40 for a basic service. I paid over $60 for the same service at Sanders. I received an email from the service manager asking me to rate my experience. I replied to his email with the above issues and his major concern was how he could get me to rate his service higher. He said what do I have to do give me a free service. I don't want a free service I want to have him acknowledge my concern. He never did that. His rating was more important. I have had my cars serviced at the dealer for the past 25 years. Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, and Honda are the cars I took for service. Since moving to Stillwater I took my cars to Sanders and Janzen Toyota. I will return to Janzen not Sanders. I will make the drive to Bob Howard in Edmond for service. More
Went in honestly saying I was going to check out a few trucks from the area that I had found online. Was also quite clear that I had my own financing in works, was't going to need it from dealership. Not trucks from the area that I had found online. Was also quite clear that I had my own financing in works, was't going to need it from dealership. Not only did they run my credit info, they did it multiple times so that I have 5-7 show up in one day. After driving the vehicle I was interested in, I mentioned that it was still in consideration. I wanted to be certain that I didn't rush into the first purchase foolishly and that I would be in touch after checking a few other trucks. The sales manager then shows up, saying this is the best payment I would get with this much down. We hadn't even discussed asking price, interest rate, anything other than me still being into the ride. The manager went into full court press, actually asking me what would it take to keep me from leaving and looking elsewhere. Told him it was simply for my peace of mind. He was way to persistent, not listening to the things that mattered to me or factored into my choice. He didn't want me leaving the store, saying that I had signed a paper saying I wanted that truck. Actually, the paper said I was satisfied that the truck was as it was described and that if all terms were agreeable, I may be interested in purchasing it. There was a clear stamp on paper saying it was not binding, basically just checking my interest level. Again, the young sales guy was nice, but the manager, Matt, was all about making his sale before the end of 2013. Nothing I said was going to register with him, other than saying I was ready to buy. After all of that, all there is left is to receive 2 phone calls each day, every day, until I told the kid I had bought a Dodge instead. (They did leave me alone on Christmas, although I am sure that was because they had other plans.) Steer clear. More
We arrived to consider a Honda Civic after looking the model over for a year. We have a 2006 Honda Civic so we know how good a quality vehicle they are. Daniel met my wife and daughter first and since I was looking over the lot. He had a smile and strong handshake. While deciding on color, either Crimson Red or Titanium, he was patient while we walked the lot. Then quickly he made the Civic ready for a test drive and off we went. Returning we said we would buy and were shown into a comfortable office to work the details. We were asked if we would like refreshments and went over the paperwork relating various stories about driving. Then it was off to financing which was straightforward and friendly. After exchanging pictures of our kids, we signed the paperwork. While this was going on Daniel was having the Civic detailed and filled with gasoline. But it was the exit from the building I will never forget. Daniel had back the Civic up into a receiving area where we could just pull out. As I walked to he opened the door and had the Civic running. After asking to take a picture of the family which made me feel good, we were off. our experience was excellent - we will refer others - thanks Honda and Barry Sander's! More
We bought 2 vehicles 2 days apart. Super fast friendly service, no sitting twiddling our thumbs waiting to see if we can make a deal. We were tried and true customers of another dealer for 15 years but no service, no sitting twiddling our thumbs waiting to see if we can make a deal. We were tried and true customers of another dealer for 15 years but now we will make our future purchases at Barry Sanders Honda. Thanks Roger & Calsie! More

The management of this dealership better wake up, if they continue to allow the shady dealings that I have experienced at this service center word of mouth will soon destroy their business. I have a 2009 continue to allow the shady dealings that I have experienced at this service center word of mouth will soon destroy their business. I have a 2009 Honda Civic Si; needless to say all you have to do is google "2009 honda civic paint issues" and you will see that the clear coat on these models was not applied properly. The first time I took my car to this service team to see about getting my car fixed they told me that "the pealing of your clear coat is probably do to bird dropping and acid rain" you could tell that they were lying through their teeth. I let that one go and started to move up the chain by calling Honda America. Finally I received a recall notification that dealt with my specific paint problems, describing exactly what was happening to my car's clear coat. The recall told me to contact any Honda dealership and they would examine the vehicle to determine eligibility. So I call Barry Sanders Honda and was told to bring my car to them on a Thursday they would take pictures and then send me out to Diamond Auto Body to have the thickness of the clear coat tested. I was on cloud 9 finally my car would be fixed! That cloud was quickly burnt up by what occurred when I took my car in on that Thursday. This shady service team once again lied through their teeth, they told me "we can't do anything to help you Honda hasn't sent us the special tool needed to determine eligibility." Such shady BS, after arguing for a bit the service manager actually said this to me "even if your car is eligible I would then have to find a body shop that would do for at or under what I would be reimbursed and that isn't going to happen." I wonder how they stay in business, this one dealership has helped to ruin the Honda brand for this consumer. More
