This is hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Jason Banister, the GM treated me like family. He and his staff were patient, accommodating and went above and beyond in all aspects. I was unable to locate the exact vehicle I wanted in my area, and found the vehicle on the 6th Avenue Honda webpage. Contacted them one morning and spoke with Scott Briscoe. Essentially was told I was p area, and found the vehicle on the 6th Avenue Honda webpage. Contacted them one morning and spoke with Scott Briscoe. Essentially was told I was purchasing the vehicle for sticker price, which included 3 years of free oil changes . . . non-transferable to my local dealer. I asked for a deduct for this service, as I was not going to be able to use it. "I'm sorry, we can't do that." YES, they could . . . but they CHOSE NOT TO. As I was driving nearly 9 hours, I offered to make a deposit for them to hold the vehicle (I didn't want to drive that far and the car be sold out from underneath me). They don't take deposits . . . but Scott assured me he would pull the car to the back and hold it for me. I was paying cash . . . learned via text just minutes before leaving for StiIlwater that I was required to provide a Cashier's Check (I have always written a personal check to the dealerships in my area). So I had to jump through hoops to get that done. I told him I would be there about 9 am the next morning. Showed up shortly after 9 am . . . the car was still on the front row of the dealership, had not been moved to the back, nor had it been washed and filled with gas and ready for delivery. Since 3 years of "free" oil changes was included in the sticker price of the car, I asked if they would give me the oil and filters since I obviously could not use what I was paying for. "I'm sorry, we can't do that." YES, they could . . . but they CHOSE NOT TO. The two managers I spoke with were very personable; Bear was absolutely adorable; however, Scott Briscoe has the personality of a rock. Essentially, I was an out of town customer and they stuck it to me every chance they got. I'm hopeful they treat their locals better. More
