He is a car enthusiast so he knows the technical details when asked. But he relates easily to people who are just interested in a good, reliable car. I can't say enough about Elliott Hersh and Lannan Mazda in Lowell. From the moment we stepped out of our car (which was going to be a trade-in) to the time we drove off in our new Mazda 3 I Sport, we were treated with extreme courtesy and professionalism. Elliott was very cordial and knowledgeable and did not hesitate to "go the extra mile" to be sure we had all of our questions answered. There was no pressure whatsoever. Elliott's attention to every detail of the transaction was amazing. The car was delivered exactly as promised. Elliott even made the first service appointment in advance for us on a weekend day since he was aware of my working schedule and commute and even phoned a week after we took possession of the car to check to see how things were going. This was the second Mazda dealer I tried and was head and shoulders above the first place, definitely worth the further distance. My car had a couple little issues when I brought it in. Right off you notice the squeaky clean service garage. Tiffany Smith the intake guru was super friendly and answered all my questions. The service team worked really hard to diagnose an intermittent warning light problem and although it took a few tries, they figured it out. This dealership went above and beyond to figure out my problem and to find a solution, and they cherry on top, they wash your vehicle before returning it to you...a small thing that really makes a huge difference. My wife and I learned of Lannan Mazda through the BJ's Club autoprogram, and we were contacted by John Bonner. Lannan offered a very good price for the vehicle, but we didn't give them the top rating for price because even after negotiations, another dealership offered a slightly lower price. However, we chose to purchase from Lannan because of the service and the significant distance to the other Mazda dealership. Overall, we've been very pleased thus far with our business with Lannan Mazda and John Bonner. More
