Went here because after researching what I wanted they had the best selection to browse in person. Arrived shortly after they opened (no other customers there) parked right in front of main entrance stood had the best selection to browse in person. Arrived shortly after they opened (no other customers there) parked right in front of main entrance stood outside my vehicle for a few minutes then started to go look at the wranglers was out looking at the wranglers for about 10 (so at the dealership for about 15 mins at this point red flag #1) not once did anyone greet me or ask if I wanted some help. Ok fine maybe they didn’t notice me, so I went inside, I was greeted by (Kyle?) who was just sitting down never once stood up to greet me or anything (red flag #2). I proceeded to tell him the model I would like to see and test drive, he then finally got up and grabbed the keys and brought the vehicle to the main entrance. He asked if I had any questions (I had none as I did a ton of research already), put a plate on and was on my way. I will say it is nice being able to test drive without a salesman watching everything You do or taking you on a “predetermined route”. No problems with this aspect. Red flag # 3 was when I got back and we started talking about making the deal. I expected and knew my payments were going to be higher as this was a top of the line model. Wasn’t sure if I was going to lease (and take advantage of the massive tax breaks) or just purchase (less discounts). So I had them run the numbers for a lease first (we started with no money down to get a true value) . They came back with an absolutely ludicrous Number (I could have PURCHASED it for significantly less, talking hundreds less a month than they wanted to charge me for a lease), and lacked a lot of rebates I should have had. I knew there was some rebates I didn’t qualify for being from NH so no big deal. When I further asked about it they just told me I didn’t qualify for the rebates and the “price is the price”. Once I realized that something was off I knew it was time to leave and just ended up walking out. I ended up reaching out to another dealer who had the EXACT SAME model (including options and color) and asked them to run the numbers. They called me back within a few minutes and were several hundred dollars cheaper for the lease (just for comparison 495 jeep told me with no money down payment was $1250 this other dealer same deal was under $1000). When asked how there was such a big difference they first told me about all the credits I qualify for, when I said 495 jeep said I didn’t qualify they were confused and surprised and said “I definitely did qualify”. So long story I was prepared to buy a jeep at 495 jeep but they are definitely playing games, I would advise anyone going here to do their due diligence and check other local dealers. If I hadn’t done my research and listened to my gut I would have been well over paying. This other local dealer ended up getting a sale (ended up purchasing it as it made more sense) and they didn’t play games or try to swindle me. More
