After two emails and a phone call, I've received no response from "Johnny Kia". Very unprofessional. DO NOT buy or have a car serviced at First Kia Simi Valley. I urge you to take your business somewhere else. I had to have warranty work on my 2014 KIA Forte due to the electronic power steering going out at 3300 miles. It's not a big deal, its under warranty, or so I thought. They refused to provide a rental car until after I complained profusely. The car was down for a week and not having a rental car would not be a viable option. They "fix" the issue by replacing the steering column, however, they did it wrong. When I got the car back the steering wheel controls did not work, the power steering was sloppy, and the steering wheel was not put on straight. Turns out the technician didn't plug the electronics back in and put the steering wheel back on crooked. I take it back and tell them to fix it right this time. They flat out refused a rental car this time even though the mistake was their fault. Even after complaining about it again, they refused a second rental car. So much for having a car to drive to work. Two days later, they plug the electronics back in and say they put the steering wheel back on straight. The electronics on the steering wheel work again, but guess what; the steering wheel is still not straight! This isn't rocket science, put the wheel on straight! Instead, when I have the wheel straight the car pulls to the right! In order to go straight the steering wheel has to be turned to the left. RIDICULOUS! I take it back and they refuse to correct it or do anything to compensate for the inconvenience, stating that the wheel is on as straight as they can get it. BS! The wheel is cocked to the left by 20 degrees!!! A simple alignment and toe adjustment will fix the issue, no need to take the steering wheel off! This should have been done when the steering column was replaced under warranty in the first place! They flat out refuse to fix their mistake or service my vehicle. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS! More

This is my third KIA her at 1st KIA and each time is better than the last! I definitely have to give a shout out to Derrick Shima who made the whole process easy and enjoyable! I was looking to lease a new Kia Optima. As a Simi Valley resident I was very focused on "Shopping Simi". I pretty much had the vehicle I wanted in mind, and First Kia had it in stock. My salesmen, Benjamin resident I was very focused on "Shopping Simi". I pretty much had the vehicle I wanted in mind, and First Kia had it in stock. My salesmen, Benjamin Villalpando, was a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to run back and forth from the Sales Manager while we negotiated a selling price, all the while keepong me informed. As it was a warm day he also made sure I had a cool drink in front of me. His professional demeanor, courtesy and personla touch was well received. There was at no time any frustration or confusion and the deal went amazingly smooth. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour or so, not bad! As I was by myself, he and and another associate took the time to drive my other car and the new Kia back to my home to make my day just that much better. I am very impressed, and would surely recommend First Kia and specifically Benjamin to anyone interested in obtaining a vehicle. Thanks guys, I love my new ride !! More
