Was not really looking for a new car as I leased a Honda Civic in 2012 from Albert Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez called me several times over the past month inquiring if I would be interested in looking at the Civic in 2012 from Albert Rodriguez. I am very busy with work and Mr. Rodriguez continued to call very graciously until I visited the dealership. I test drove the Accord and was very impressed with the vehicle. I just thought I was not ready to move into a new car so soon. Mr. Rodriguez continued over the next two weeks to call and offer his assistance in trading in the Civic for the Accord. I finally decided to drop by and see what deal could be arranged. After going over the numbers and the recommendation to purchase instead of leasing coupled with his kindness for myself and my wife, I decided to trade in the Civic for the Accord. The Accord is fully loaded and I feel Mr. Rodriguez was very helpful in securing this deal. As we all know buying a car is a very long process & where exciting it is one of the most boring wait game in the world. At 1st Honda they made it less painful. I am a instant gratification gal & decided Saturday morning that I "may" want a new car (the husband knew by the word "may" it was going to be a looong day). We started at another dealer to look at 2 used cars, which I was less than pleased to find that 2 of their managers where using them as their personal cars & it happened to be their day of - NOT a good start. I went to another dealership to find that they didn't even have the model I wanted to test drive on site at all. Then we went to 1st Honda, I was approached by Brian, a cool guy full of knowledge that I was determined to not let sell me a "new" car.... his "Helpful Honda" ways sucked me in! He said the right thing... go test drive the "other" cars, then we can talk. By the time we came back he was heading out, but gave us Johann. We FINALLY test drove an Accord, said "let's do it", Johann took us through the storage looking for the color I wanted. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an Accord that looked a bit different, it had a spoiler & said "sport", I asked the difference & Johann went over them in detail - I liked what I was hearing!!! The best part it was only $2k more than the Accord & I loved the color!!! SOLD!!!!!! Stu was great putting up with the "ants in the pants" syndrome I suffer from & in the end he made it happen. Now, NOTHING is perfect.... ONLY (and I mean ONLY) complaint is I think the appraiser for the 1st of Simi Valley dealerships low xxxxx trade-in's, but whatever Stu made it happen for the price I wanted so all is forgiven! Had a great experience with Vince & Bobby. We came in fairly late in the evening, they honored the internet quote we had previously received and worked through the remaining details fairly quickly.
