I was looking for my perfect car and after weeks of researching I decided to get the 2011 Outback. I believe there are only 3 Subaru dealers in the area and due to time constraints I only saw 2. Ed and #1 Cochran were very accomodating with our specs for our Outback from the inside and out. They offered a deal that was way better than the other and they got the color that we wanted even though units are so hard to find this time around since the 2012 Outbacks are just around the corner. ON AUGUST 10,2011 MY HUSBAND AND I SET OUT TO GO CAR SHOPPING. #1 COCHRAN WAS OUR FIRST STOP FOR THE DAY. WE WERE GREETED IMMEDIATELY BY SALESPERSON CHARLIE SMITH. WE WERE UNCERTAIN AS TO WHAT KIND OF V SHOPPING. #1 COCHRAN WAS OUR FIRST STOP FOR THE DAY. WE WERE GREETED IMMEDIATELY BY SALESPERSON CHARLIE SMITH. WE WERE UNCERTAIN AS TO WHAT KIND OF VEHICLE WE WANTED, BUT EXPLAINED TO CHARLIE OUR BUDGET AND THAT WE WERE LEADING TOWARDS GETTING A SUV. HE SHOWED US SEVERAL VEHICLES ON THE USED AND NEW LOT. HE TOOK US OVER TO THE SUBARU BUILDING AND SHOWED US A FEW CARS IN THE SHOWROOM. ONCE IN THE SHOWROOM I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SUBARU LEGECY THAT WAS BEING DISPLAYED THERE. CHARLIE WAS AWARE THAT I HAD WANTED AN SUV, BUT HELPED ME TO CONSIDER OTHER OPTIONS BECAUSE PRIMARILY I HAD WANTED AN SUV FOR BETTER TRAVEL IN THE SNOW. CHARLIE EXPLAINED TO US THAT WE WOULD BE GETTING BETTER GAS MILEAGE WITH THE SUBARU AND THAT IT WAS ALL WHEEL DRIVE. FROM THERE WE WENT FOR A TEST DRIVE, AND I COULDN'T HAVE MORE IMPRESSED WITH THE VEHICLE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DIDN'T NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE BECAUSE I FOUND WHAT I WANTED! LATER ON WE MET SALESPERSON RICHARD EARL AND HE WENT OVER THE FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE AND TOLD US HOW PLEASED WE WERE GOING TO BE WITH OUR NEW PURCHASE. THE STAFF WORKED VERY HARD THAT AFTERNOON TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE THAT I WOULD BE A NEW SUBARU OWNER! THESE TWO MEN DEMONSTRATED EXTREME PROFESSIONALISM AND WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE ON EVERY VEHICLE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY TOOK THEIR TIME WITH US AND DID NOT RUSH US INTO MAKING A DECISION. The car negotiation process was fast and efficient. We visited other dealers and the negotiations seemed to last forever (which my wife couldn't stand). I told all of my family members and friends that buying a car at Cochran was like going through McDonald's drive-thru. Fast, Efficient and Friendly!
