There was no "haggle fest" or "shenanigans" stright up honest resonable deal. David was friendly, thorough and compleat when explaining the contract and terms. He presented optional services, without the pressure I have had at other dealerships over the years, that can leave you with a feeling of being taken to the cleaners. We were in and done in less then 3.5 hours including test drives. More
I took my Subaru in for an alignment. My outback 13K miles. The service was quick, professional, and courteous. One request was that I wanted the steering wheel centered since it always seemed tilted miles. The service was quick, professional, and courteous. One request was that I wanted the steering wheel centered since it always seemed tilted to the right when driving straight. The technician found that the right rear tire was out of alignment and made the necessary repair. Although the car does drive straight, the wheel was never centered nor was the car ever test driven following the procedure. I believe that when spending $80 on a 4 wheel alignment the wheel should be centered and test driven. I am sure I will take my car back to Cochran to have this issue remedied, but the inconvenience of having to make the trip back to Monroeville is the bummer. More

I've had all of my service done on my Subaru 2011 Impreza at this dealership and have always been satisfied with their work. I've always had Joel Rosenberg as my service manager and his crew is always runnin at this dealership and have always been satisfied with their work. I've always had Joel Rosenberg as my service manager and his crew is always running smoothly. I've never waited more than an hour (I don't usually drop off or use rental cars). Joel and his crew have been great with explanations for repair, reasons for certain recommendations or upgrades to my car, have been friendly and have always left my car as clean or cleaner than it was when I dropped it off for repairs or maintenance. I've also had some experience with GMC repair service at Cochran and am just as thrilled with it, as I am their Subaru service department. Their staff are friendly, quick and provide great explanations on repairs. All service departments are clean, have wifi, have bathrooms, and have a TV. This made sound weird, but they actually make waiting at a dealership tolerable, if not close to enjoyable. More
I brought my car(2008 Subaru Impreza) in for service, due to a leak, the night before the appt. so it could be worked on the following day. Greg called me the following day to say it was an oil leak that oc to a leak, the night before the appt. so it could be worked on the following day. Greg called me the following day to say it was an oil leak that occurred because whoever changed my oil recently did not replace the oil drain plug gasket. He said they would replace the oil (so I assumed most of the oil was gone) and also the filter. If I had taken the time to think about it, I would have questioned the filter more. I had just had it replaced a month ago. I guess Greg didn't realize that and didn't ask how long ago it had been - nor did he notice it wasn't that used or needed replaced since I had just had it replaced a month ago. Midas is where I had the oil changed and they are reimbursing me the cost of an oil change (giving me a free one) but it is $10 less than what Cochran charges for an oil change. That's why I usually go to Midas, and I have had no problems until now. Cochrans also did some kind of a safety inspection (which I did not request) and found the left inner brake shim was dislocated. When Greg called, he told me this but could have told me that it was not an immediate safety issue (according to Midas's Manager) and that I should take it back to where I got the new brake pads put on and they would fix the problem with the shim at no charge. But Greg said Cochrans would do it and when I suggested I would have to sue Midas for the cost of fixing the shim, Greg said probably not but I could just bring them the invoice from Cochran and they would reimburse me. Not happening! Midas said Cochran should have told me to bring it back to where I had the brakes installed and they would have fixed the problem for free. Didn't happen. Yes, I should have asked more questions of Greg but I think not giving me a choice about taking it back to Midas or having Cochran fix it at a cost of $45 and letting me know that it was not an immediate safety issue is not good ethics. I feel I have been taken advantage of and that is why I gave the ratings that I did. More

I had a great experience so far.... Ron was very helpful when I first walked into Cochran Subaru. Ordered at 2013 that day. When I came to pick up the car, it was ready and the "sign-out" process was very s when I first walked into Cochran Subaru. Ordered at 2013 that day.
