This has been the worst experience in car leasing and buying. I started all the leasing process online and through emails and phone calls because of the pandemic in 2021. When I went to check the vehicle in person it was missing accessories that Nissan was not including on the S Trim. They never explained that before doing all the process and running my credit report. It was hard to change my decision once I went to see the vehicle and signed the contract. Service was always pushing for doing more on the vehicle. Besides when I requested to rotate the tires with the first oil change. They didn’t rotate the tires and on the second year of leasing I had to put new tires on the vehicle to pass inspection even when the vehicle had very low mileage on it. I decided to purchase the Lease this year and the finance department ran my credit with a bunch of Banks (I was expecting maybe 2 or 3 options but they tried with a lot of Banks) to see what will suit them better, so I got my credit score affected ‘cause all the hard inquires. They were very pushy about getting a service contract because of all the things that could go wrong with my vehicle. Well, I agreed to sign this service contract just to get out of there. Again, service department pushed to do more on the vehicle because they had to "inspect" it before selling me the lease I had with them for 3 years. So, what better opportunity to suggest more service. I agreed again to their suggestions. That day was getting too long and I truly just wanted to get out of there at that point. The company they use for extended warranty and gap insurance is EasyCare. If you read this, do NOT get in business with them. I had to contact them (Easy Care) for more than 4 months to cancel the service contract (even when #1 Cochran Nissan Dealer said it was easy to cancel if I wanted to) that I regret getting into it. After more than two months of the contract being canceled I have not yet received a reimbursement check or being sent to the bank I’m financing with. I contacted EasyCare over the phone, I had to go in person to #1 Nissan Cochran Dealer Monroeville to ask where the check was. Cochran said they sent it to Nissan Finance, which it does not make any sense since I started already financing with PNC Bank when I purchased the vehicle. I contacted Nissan Finance and they cannot tell me whether they have received the check or not. In consequence, I have no idea where the money is. They never answered any of my calls about the reimbursement issue. They will only answer the phone when they are after your money. I left voicemails several times and never got a call back. I kept coming back for service and maintained the relationship thinking that at the end of the Lease I might still get another vehicle with them. Besides the feeling of being pushed all the time to keep spending money on a vehicle that in three years had less than 17 thousand miles on it. When the time came I only had the choice of buying my lease because they did not offer me enough to make a good deal out of trading in and getting another vehicle. They rather make more money reselling a used car (buying back cheap from you) or not make any money at all and loose the customer instead of trying to help and keep you coming back. I refinanced with the same bank and lowered 2 points on the loan interest, if you’re buying your Leased car go directly with your Bank. Trust me! It is really sad how they have treated me all these years. I trusted them and they never appreciated me. I was stupid to think I would get anything positive from them. I WILL NEVER do business again with this dealer or any other that has the name Cochran on it. I will NOT recommend Cochran to anybody. They should do better for their customers More
So disappointed, was in process of getting financing, insurance, etc and the car was sold. Dealership was aware that I was working on purchasing car. Zero stars would be the best rating to the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I plan to stay away from all #1 Cochrans and share my story to friends and family so they can do so experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I plan to stay away from all #1 Cochrans and share my story to friends and family so they can do so as well. #1 Cochran can sell cars but expecting them to have the same eagerness to correct a situation when they sold you a defective "new" vehicle and already have your money was the biggest mistake I made. The service manager Kevin does not provide service or is concerned with the customer. Today i was told that after having my vehicle since the 19th for recall service that was set to take 2 hours, that they concerned with the customer. I did get a new transmission, which is positive but only after pushing Nissan Corp. I had to put a new tire on loaner car I was given, only to be told too bad. I guess I should have treated the loaner with the same respect they gave me as a customer. All in all not having my vehicle for work cost me close to $1,000. I guess from the service managers perspective, they did everything right and I'm to blame for buying a new vehicle from them and having them service it. More
This is by far the worst place to get your vehicle serviced. The advisors are very demeaning and unable to provide clarity on any questions you have. If you need your vehicle serviced take it to the South Hills location, very professional. More
I want to thank Chris Rachel and Thomas McNeese for the exceptional service I received on my company pickup truck on 9/22-21. They took me in last minute toward the end of the day serviced my truck. This was my first time buying a car and my salesman Jamie helped me out immensely! There was so much I didn’t know about the financing process and Jamie was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind throughout t helped me out immensely! We were able to find a great deal on a Nissan Sentra that was within my college student budget and I am extremely satisfied with my new car. I can not thank Jamie enough for how easy and stress-free he made my first time buying a car. Can't get my car fixed, then can't get anyone to answer phone in over 20 minutes at service. Hope they're training cause nobody answers phone, so I'm stuck with a car that won't start cause problem I took phone in over 20 minutes at service. Just a back handed way to stick a customer with another deductible payment from the service contract program. Bet anyone 100 bucks they will "find" another issue that wasn't there last time. More
