They do not pressure you to buy on the spot! While I was looking for a car I was dealing with family issues. I looked into other dealerships who tried to pressure me into buy. The best dealership ever they treat you like family!! I had the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE at Boardman Nissan yesterday!!!! I went in to take advantage of the 9.99 oil change special because times are tight I had the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE at Boardman Nissan yesterday!!!! I went in to take advantage of the 9.99 oil change special because times are tight and I've been putting off my oil change wayyyyyy to long. They are so nice there. Even when she had to deliver the crushing news that my car was basically a death trap she went above and beyond and delivered the best customer service experience. Little did I know that in the next 4 hrs I would become a part of the Boardman Nissan family!!!! If you only knew how horrible my credit is you would understand why I am singing their praises so hard. When she told me she was going to have Demetrius come and talk to me about getting me a new car I said, "Ok, but please let him know I'm apologising now for wasting his time because I know there is no way I'm getting approved." I'm here to tell you they moved mountains, worked, miracles, did what they had to do to make sure i got a safe reliable car that night. I am now the proud owner of a 2006 Kia Sorento with all the bells and whistles. ( I came in a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with over 166,000 miles with a laundry list of stuff that was braking including a cv joint that was barely hanging on....scary I know) Best part is they worked it out so that I didn't have to put anything down! Thanks to the awesome staff at Boardman Nissan I drove away in a 2014 Nissan Altima last night. There second chance program is legit. My salesman was Zach and he was very professional and helpful and the finance woman was Natalie, who worked very very hard to get me into my vehicle at a very reasonable price. They gave me my approval information over the phone before I went, such as monthly payment and down payment, and were true to their word when it was time to sign the papers. Lost the Sale Our salesman, Josh Macklin, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We reluctantly gave ballpark numbers for the monthly payment, because we were told that that's how they do things there so they're not going out of your price range. The sales manager, Wes, spoke to us before we left and his approach was a bit more pushy. We felt like he was trying to trick us into a bad deal. It was a complete red flag when he said they'd probably only be able to offer us $500 for our trade when Kelley Blue Book and all the other estimates ranged from$2,500-$5,500. We left the dealership liking the car and the salesman but not wanting to deal with Wes again. Unfortunately after giving our phone number, the dealership thought it was a good idea to call us early on Saturdays and Sundays when we were trying to sleep in even though we said we were 1-2 months from buying. After the fourth time, I told them to stop calling. We had liked the Rogue and RAV4 about the same, but we ended up getting a Toyota RAV4 because the atmosphere at that dealership was so much more friendly and relaxing. Josh was a great guy, but the sales manager caused him to lose the sale. More

I told them I would call the next day and tell them what we would do. I called and told them we wanted the car and would be in Thursday afternoon to finalize things. I returned as I said I would and sales manager Ryan would not honor the price he had previously given to me. I don't understand how they expect to sell cars by treating customers that way. It didn't make me mad, it made me sad that folks can't be honest. My counsel would be... if they make you an offer... get it signed. Watch their numbers carefully. More
