Sam went ABOVE & BEYOND in helping us. The original color of the car (we looked at)was not to our liking, he investigated various dealers to find a car with a color my wife & I liked. I bought my Kia Soul here. Worst buying experience ever. I would never go back. When I wrote to them explaining the reasons why I was unhappy - they never even bothered to contact me. When I had an issue with a recall - and my window would not go down - they would not fit me in for an emergency appointment - and told me to try another dealer. Well, I did. Got rid of the soul after less than a year. They claim to be top notch on customer service - but good luck even getting an oil change in a timely manner. More
No pressure sales. Much different experience than Kia Century III. As a result we have a new Sedona in our driveway. Stay away from Century III and head to Cochran. We also payed below invoice with our NEA discount which was wonderful. This was the only KIA dealership in Pittsburgh that offered the discount. No one else would match the bottom line. More
This was a fantastic experience. We walked in knowing which vehicle we wanted (Sorrento) but unsure if we would be able to get the payments where we wanted to be. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitly recommend the dealership to family, friends and strangers! You can count on the fact that we will be back at some point to purchase a vehicle from the individuals at this lot. Thank you! More
Although the sales staff was very willing to negotiate, I do feel that I could have gone to another dealership (Baeirl Kia) and gotten a better price. We decided to travel out of our local area to see if we could get the best deal possible on a new Kia SUV. Each person that we came into contact with went out of their way to make sure that the purchase of our new vehicle was the deal we were looking for and that the purchase went as smoothly as possible. I really cannot believe the reviews I read on here about this dealership. I bought a new Kia Soul and drove to Halleen Kia in Ohio to get it. Let me say that they were, by far, a model Kia dealer and should be training the Kia dealers in Pittsburgh. Well, two weeks later, I stopped at #1 Cochran Kia thinking I would have a similar experience. It was awful. First of all, I bought the top of the line Optima SX Turbo. And where did I do this transaction? In the employee Xerox room! I had people bumping into me and asking to get by for an hour. It was absurd. And, it wasn't like they were busy and we couldn't go somewhere else. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism. And, this is after the kid who was my "dealer" did not say two words probably from the time I took the test drive through the sales process. OK, so I was finally glad to get the xxxx out of there. I did purchase the Auto Armor. So, you'd think, new car, new potential service customer, that they would do their part to be accommodating, right? Wrong! It took being transferred to 13 people before someone -- anyone in the Cochran web -- could answer and set up this simple service appointment from a "We Owe You" card they provided. Calling in again to be sure the keys were left with the receptionist was an ordeal. But, what really ticks me off is that, unless they drove all over town, can someone explain to me why you adjusted my seats, mirrors, rear view mirror, radio to stations I don't even listen to, and played with the dual controls on my AC? This place is a joke. I will NEVER return and will do my best to steer both friends and colleagues away from them. I'm all about second chances, but things just don't improve here... They only degrade. Perhaps it's time for Rob Cochran to change his ads on TV. Maybe he should go as an "undercover customer." That would be an eye opener for him! More
