Finance Manager mislead financing information. Was supposed to be co-signer on loan, asked several times if this was correct, stopped in again and was told everything was fine. I went shopping for a car for my wife and walked into Cochran Kia on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted by Mike Kascak. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I went home later and my wife said it was the car she wanted so we sent in our credit information on their website and set up an appointment to pick up the car Wednesday night. When we got there the car was ready to go and the paperwork took all of 10 minutes to complete. After shopping various other dealers I was pleasantly shocked by the treatment i recieved at Cochran Kia, from my initial phone call to the delivery of the vehicle. I was given the absolute best price FROM THE START, there was no haggling and no added "fees" that other dealers were trying to slide in. Mike Kascak in sales answered my questions, DID NOT PRESSURE ME at all and worked me up a painless and rather quick delivery. Rob Williams, the general manager greeted me himself when i arrived there and quickly and very fairly handled my dealings. Mike's brother Jason handled all the paperwork, is extremely dilligent and knowledgeable and has the patience of a saint!! As they are representative of everyone I observed there I must say i was impressed with their overall niceness and pleasant attitudes. It seems to permeate from the top down at the Cochran family of dealers. I bought my first car in 1979 from Cochran Pontiac/GMC that was then by the monroeville mall. It was then owned by Bob Cochran, Rob Cochran's late father. As an 18 year old kid they could have taken advantage of me but Bob Cochran himself saw that I was treated fairly, and I can honestly say that that this tradition is alive and well in 2012.....33 years later. What does that tell you about their business ethic?? Tells me they value their customers by treating them like family and giving them a great deal on the product that they choose. Service at Cochran is also number 1 in the industry. Knowing people who work in their mechanic shop and bodyshop personally and being a mechanic myself I can also tell you that they employ the cream of the crop in the way of technicians. I would have to say that when the need arises again, in five years or so, I will not waste my time shopping other dealers, as time is the one thing in life you can not afford to waste. If you go other places to shop make it a point to go to Cochran......the difference will be amazing! More
