Very disappointed. Our Kia Soul need software update Very disappointed. Our Kia Soul need software update Cochran Kia Robinson were the only one available in within 2 week to do the update. They did Very disappointed. Our Kia Soul need software update Cochran Kia Robinson were the only one available in within 2 week to do the update. They did the update and said we needed a thermostat housing, and would order the part and would call us when the part came in. Waited for days and I called Friday they said the part just came in today. Interesting at 3pm. Make an appointment for Tuesday put they put the housing on,driving home.on the parkway the engine overheated has to stop 3 times to let the engine cool. Contacted Conchran Kia Robinson service center they said drive it back, there was no one that was going to happen. Finally made it home called Kia towing waiting 7 hours for the tow truck, tried numerous times to call Joe Markowitz always got his voicemail, never returns your call unless the Cochran Kia Robinson service center put you in touch with him. Told him what happen to the car and he said I'll call you to let you know what is wrong with it, obviously he didnt follow thru on that. Again I has to call to see if the car was repaired and it was. Over the past week I called Joe Markowitz at least 7 to 9 times leaving voicemails and the only 2 times he actually picked up was when Cochran Kia Robinson l service called him and connected me. He said he never received my voicemail because his phone was off/ broken and the other time he said he was with a Kia representative. Interesting! Never again would I go to Cochran Kia Robinson for anything. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Joe Markowitz is the Cochran Kia Service Manager. More
My experience at this dealership was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed and receive abysmal customer service. I brought my car in, a 2018 Kia Optima, for a state in TERRIBLE!!! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed and receive abysmal customer service. I brought my car in, a 2018 Kia Optima, for a state inspection and oil change on 7/6/2021. Upon completion of said inspection, the service department informed me that my car was in perfect working order and no adjustments needed to be made. For informative purposes, I bought the car brand new and have never had any issues with my vehicle, excluding regular maintenance as necessary. Today, as I was driving down the 376 West, my car suddenly started making an incredibly loud scraping noise. At first, I thought it was a faulty brake caliper or a dragging muffler, however, when I pulled over and inspected the underside of the car, the floor board had become disengaged from the vehicle and had been dragging on the road. Since I was close by, I pulled into the South Hills Kia dealership, who had serviced my car in the past. The only reason I started bringing my car to #1 Cochran Kia in Robinson was because I had relocated to Moon Township, otherwise, I would have had no reason to change as South Hills Kia always provided me with exemplary customer service, prompt communication, and a timely turn around. When the service team at South Hills Kia had the car up in the air, they showed me the damage and explained that the reason the floor panel became loose was that it was not reassembled correctly after it was serviced last (approximately 9 days period). At first, they attempted to secure the floor board to the car with zip ties, but later decided against this as they weren't confident the floor board would remain safely secured. They offered to fix it at their location, but strongly recommended that I bring it back to #1 Cochran so I could show them what happened. I agreed that this was the right thing to do and, being that the floor board could not be reattached, they ended up removing the panel completely. From there, I drove straight to #1 Cochran in Robinson. I attempted to call the service department there, however, nobody answered so I left a voicemail for the service manager. I would like to further elaborate that I never received a follow up call after that message was left. Once I arrived at the dealership in Robinson, I explained what the South Hills Kia team discovered. The service manager at #1 Cochran Kia asked me to leave my car there and they would take a look at it and get it fixed. Finally, at approximately 6:19 pm, well after the service department closed, I received a voicemail from the service manager informing me of the situation. Per his voicemail, he stated that dangling floorboard dragging across the road was, "towards the back of the car, and not the front" and that he thought the only reason for that happening was that "something on the road kicked up and pulled it down." I find it insulting that someone would dispute what I, as well as the service of team at South Hills Kia, observed with our own eyes. They showed me where the panel had become loose, and it was located in the front, directly behind the front passenger side wheel well, and not the back as they were falsely implying. I would like to add, the road was completely free of debris and nothing was "kicked up" under the car. To add insult to injury, I was informed that the floor board was "not important," however, it I wished to have it replaced, the part would cost $224.37 not including labor. Instead of being accountable for their actions, #1 Cochran KIA is content to patently deceive their customers, lying to them, and ultimately extorting every cent they can.I took my business to South Hills Kia instead and received superior customer service. Not trustworthy. They were the only service center I used and when something that could only have been done by a mechanic was done and needed fixed they denied any responsibility. used and when something that could only have been done by a mechanic was done and needed fixed they denied any responsibility.
