I really liked how she communicated with me over email and texts, as these are my more commonly used forms of communication. I did my background research on pricing in the area and your price point really couldn't be beat. When I received my new vehicle, Samantha made sure to go over everything one last time, checked the car to make sure it was perfectly cleaned, and sent me on my way. I would recommend both her and the Cochran Hyundai South Hills dealership to anyone I know looking for a great car. More

My vehicle was due for its six month AutoButler application. I dropped the car off on Tuesday morning to Nikko (who let it be known, is an excellent service advisor) and picked it up later that eve application. Matt Gerlach, the service manager, was the only person still at the service counter when I picked up the car around 6 p.m. He brought the car around for me and I proceed home. After getting out of the car in my driveway, I noticed that the hood, passenger front fender, passenger front door, and windshield was coated in overspray, which resulted from the tire shine chemical that is applied to the tires after it is detailed. After realizing this, I immediately got back in the car and drove straight back to the service department. When I arrived, Matt was too pre-occupied on his cell phone, than to take the time to greet me. After informing him of what the situation was, he replied "ok" with a tone of total disregard. I proceed to lay the service invoice and my car keys down on the counter and Matt started yelling "YOU DON'T NEED TO SLAM YOUR KEYS DOWN LIKE THAT". I then replied, "I did not slam my keys down". He then replied "YES YOU DID". First off, if I would have slammed my keys down, the whole dealership would have heard it. Second off, I would never do such a thing. Third off, who is he to reprimand me, THE CUSTOMER, for something I didn't even do. Keep in mind, he never even had the courtesy to put his phone down during this whole conversation. When I asked him if he wanted to come out and see the car, so he would know what I was talking about, he said "no". As you can see, my concerns weren't really important to him. With that said, I told him that when I picked up the car the following day, I expected it to be in acceptable condition. Of course, they cleaned the car all over again and Nikko called me around 9:30 a.m. to tell me it was ready for pick up. When I picked up the car, Nikko was genuinely apologetic and looked over the car to make sure that everything was satisfactory. Those are the actions of somebody that actually cares about a customer and their vehicle. Now, one would think that if a person held the position of "service manager", that they would go over and above when it came to customer complaints and concerns. It would have been nice if Matt would have showed a genuine concern for me and my vehicle. If he would have said "Oh I am sorry, we'll fix the problem" or said "Let's take a look at it", then I wouldn't be writing this review. But, he obviously thought that giving me an attitude and yelling was a better way to deal with the situation. I think that #1 Cochran should maybe give Nikko DeCenzo the title of Service Manager, because he actually CARES. Matt and his low level of customer service convinced me to go else where for my vehicle's needs and I will never recommend #1 Cochran to anyone ever again. So, if you're looking for a dealership where the customer is treated in an inferior manner with a side of attitude, then the service department at #1 Cochran Hyundai is your place to go! If you want you and your vehicle to be treated with the upmost level of customer service, then go to any other dealership in Western Pennsylvania. I can bet that no other dealership would ever treat a customer in such a poor manner. More

Bob Pacella is one of the most responsive and best car salesmen I know...and I am in sales...so he gave me just the facts I needed and then went to bat for me to get the price point I required to buy a ne salesmen I know...and I am in sales...so he gave me just the facts I needed and then went to bat for me to get the price point I required to buy a new car...twice now.... in 3 years...I did and will go back to him when I need to purchase again..he even came in on his day off to allow me to pick up my new car when I needed to...he has always gone above and beyond in my book...the service staff at Cochran in Dormont are also exceptional...from personal call backs and getting me the appts I needed when they were convenient for me... Working with #1 Cochran Hyundai was quick, easy, and efficient. I came in Saturday at lunchtime knowing what vehicle I was interested in (2013 Hyundai Tucson) and showed it to our salesperson, Gavin Me efficient. I came in Saturday at lunchtime knowing what vehicle I was interested in (2013 Hyundai Tucson) and showed it to our salesperson, Gavin Melan. Right away, he took us over to the lot, showed us the vehicle, and showed us similar Tucsons and explained their differences. He was right to the point, thoroughly explained the vehicles features well, and helped boost my confidence in choosing this vehicle. Gavin and Tom Glumac worked with us to figure out a deal that could get my monthly payments to a little over $200/month, my initial goal in shopping for a vehicle. This was difficult to negotiate at some other dealers. Gavin was able to easily set things up so that I could return later in the day with my down payment and leave the dealer with my new Tucson. Ian Renter made the payment process extremely efficient, helping explain to me how the loan process would work. He explained every document I was signing thoroughly but was still very to-the-point, what I was hoping for! After that was over, Gavin took me to my new Tucson, which was clean, filled up, and ready to go. This was my first experience purchasing a new vehicle, and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant one. Whenever I will need a new vehicle down the line, #1 Cochran will be one of my top choices! By far this was the easiest dealership to work with from phone calls to signing the paperwork. They made buying a car painless. For once it was nice to not have to play games when buying a car.
