This was my first car buying experience and I had done some shopping around and looked at another dealership and at another car, but was not thrilled with my experience nor the price of the vehicle. I found myself on later that same day and found a really great deal on a used 2011 Chevy Malibu at #1 Cochran Monroeville. I decided to take a short ride up to see the car and try to get some finance questions answered. When I arrived I walked into the Certified Pre-Owned Building and was greeted kindly by Bob, coincidentally my name is Bob also. Bob asked what had brought me in and I showed him the print out of the Malibu and he promptly got the keys took me to the car and began letting me see the car. We then took a test drive in which Bob answered all my question and never made me feel as though he was trying to sell me the car unlike my test drive earlier at another dealership. When we got back from the test drive we went inside and began running some numbers and he gave me a rough idea of what the monthly payments would be. I asked to fill out a credit app, but unfortunately could not get a final answer, by then the banks were closed. Bob informed me he would contact me the next day with all the finance information and he came through. The financing was excellent and had Bob hold the car. Sure enough when I went to do the paper work and get the car on Friday, it was a breeze. I sat with Larry and he worked through all the paper work in about 25 minutes after which I met up with Bob and he proceeded to turn the keys over to me. Overall a great experience far exceeded what I expected given my experience at the previous dealership. More

We can not say enough how incredibly impressed and satisfied we are with the service we received from #1 Cochran and salesman, Rick Bauer. Our credit is very iffy and we were concerned that IF we got satisfied we are with the service we received from #1 Cochran and salesman, Rick Bauer. Our credit is very iffy and we were concerned that IF we got financed, the end result would be a car that would maybe last us a couple years until we could get our credit back on track. Rick was genuinely kind to us from the start. Never at any time did we feel we were being judged for our credit standing or forced into buying something we didn't want. One thing we very much appreciated was that they checked for financing first. Other dealers will let you fall in love with a car first only to tell you that you can't get it. Rick and the business manager worked very hard to find us a bank to work with and we were pleased that it was a bank that is familiar and very reputable. When it came time to finding a car, we were shocked that we were able to get one as nice as we did. It is only 2 years old and has only 17,500 miles on it. We never thought we'd be able to find such a great car especially for an even greater price. Rick and his co-workers were so kind, respectful and patient with us. I never felt pressured or judged as has happened at other dealers in the past. We know they worked very hard to get us into our wonderful car and we can not even begin to express in words our appreciation. We recommend #1 Cochran and Rick Bauer to anyone looking to buy a car regardless of their credit status. I know we and our families will be returning to #1 Cochran in the future. More
