The quote I was given for a GMC Canyon was timely, reasonable, firm and clear. Most importantly. it was for just the right vehicle for me. I needed a pickup to haul light construction materials and the Canyon filled the bill. Another plus was it was on the lot and ready to roll. More

We were desperately in need of a car. With the credit we have we thought there was no chance. #1 Cochran pulled it off and now we drive the best car we ever owned. I am on social security disability with at least one utility saying that I am below poverty level. With the tragedies of last year in my family this is extememly difficult to handle. I got the minimum to be safe and hope to work on other items as I can. Being a Buick owner since 1973, I do enjoy the cars. I was upset that the Century had disappeared when I purchased my Lacross. Darla Hill is wonderful to work with and I do have trust in her opinion. There is another place I go for repairs because I do have a credit card for them and sometimes the prices are of course lower than the dealer. However, I do like the knowledge of knowing that I receive what is recommended by GM there. Of course I am greatly concerned about the rest of the work needed on my car and desire to keep my car in good condition. Just yesterday I drove over 100 miles in the course of the day! This is not unusual for me. Tying up matters of the estates of those deceased calls for travels to lawyers and my doctors trying to insure my health. Just to note one of the tragedies of last year, my 28 year old niece committed suicide while her 5 and 10 year old were home. The children are still in therapy. I do have to be concerned about their care.To go to AGH tomorrow to be with them at therapy is 40 miles round trip and I have physical therapy going on presently, too. Gasoline has not helped. I do enjoy the cafe, too. The food quality could be improved a bit. Thank You! More
Timing was just terrible when my transmission went in my Pontiac G6 GTP. I found out that my warranty had JUST ran out the month prior. In this same month I had rotator cuff surgery and was/am only receiv Pontiac G6 GTP. I found out that my warranty had JUST ran out the month prior. In this same month I had rotator cuff surgery and was/am only receiving 60% of my paycheck for Short Term Disability. Darla called me about my car that had to be towed in and stated, "I have some news concerning your car." I paused because I knew it had to be bad. She told me that my had an "internal transmission problem." I said...o,kaaaaaaay. Then I paused again. She told me that Cochran would handle the car for me and honor the warranty. I was SHOCKED! I was provoked to tears. I think she could tell. I'm hardly ever speechless, but like I said the timing was just terrible. I told Darla that she made my day and she said, "I'm glad because it's not always that I get to be the bearer of good news." I shared with her my short comings for the month, and she listened. I give her the highest ratings and beyond...not just because of whatever she was able to handle concerning my car, but for being there to lend an ear. Sometimes that is very important regarding customer service. So, a big HUGE thank you goes out to Darla, and the team who fixed my car. I couldn't be happier with the service here. I know that this doesn't happen often, but I take good care of this car since I purchased it from #1 Cochran. I shared with Darla that this car is the BEST car I've owned and when I was a supervisor I felt like a boss...because it's a nice car. Ironically, I received a notice to extend my warranty today...I says 2nd notice in which I never received a 1st. Either way, the moral of the story is: take care of your car, and in the long run you'll also be taken care of. Darla is the best. I recommend her, AND I'll ask for her everytime. There is only ONE thing I regret about this...not being able to meet her in person. I will. Again, thank the team...and buy them pizza for a #1 Cochran job well done. Mr. Kenya L. Smith More
