I was told that I could go to any Buick Dealership for service, which #1Cochran is much closer. I went online and was able to schedule an appointment the same day, on 9/8/16 at 2pm. This was perfect because I off from work on a vacation day. This was my 1st time visit with the Service Department. I purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave from Baglier Buick in Butler because at the time they had the color and type of vehicle I was seeking. I had been taking my vehicle there for service. My first approach was with Bryan Downs, Service Advisor. Very helpful and pleasant. Bryan wrote up all services needed for my vehicle and everything was listed even tires that I had been inquiring about purchasing. My experience at #1 Cochran Service Department was top notch. I was treated much better then I had experienced at Baglier. I will definitely continue to bring my vehicle to #1 Cochran because the service received was excellent. More
terrible customer service This was my second visit to the Cochran in the Monroeville location. I took my car there in December 2015 due to a manufacture recall for my 2005 Gran This was my second visit to the Cochran in the Monroeville location. I took my car there in December 2015 due to a manufacture recall for my 2005 Grand Am and thought the problem was solved according to the recall. So I picked my car up at the service center and some of the representative were busy on the phone but 3 were not (including the 1st rep Brian Downs), so I stood there standing for couple minutes without anyone acknowledging me or asking me if I needed help. So I said " Is there anyone that can help me? Then, silence... I still was ignored, so I said it again "Is there anyone who can help me?" And finally a representative acknowledged me (the rep in the last seat of the service center). While I was talkng to the rep, another customer came and was acknowledged IMMEDIATELY. I was then given my car and to my surprise my heater panel was damaged. It appears someone was trying to turn my heat on and push the knob in and as a result the panel was damaged. So I told the service represenatve Brian Downs what happend before I left the facility and was told by him, the damage was not done by his service representative. He didnt even ask the service rep and tried to just dismiss my complaint. So when I explained my car heater panel didnt come to the facility damaged and this happend while they serviced my car, he then said very rudely..."I will ask the service rep who worked your my car and get back with you." So of course I got a call the next day by Brian Downs stating this the damage wasn't caused by them. I explained to him I had pictures of how my panel looked before it was serviced by them and after, but he still insist this wasnt damage done by them. So after being very upset and dealing other issue in my life greater than my car (my mothers illness), I left it alone. So fast forward...my car hasnt been starting like it should and when it doesnt start i have to wait till my security light comes on before it will start again. I called the Monroeville location again regarding my issue, thinking it was due to the same issue regarding the recall. I spoke a service rep who told me to bring it in. I took my car in and was told my issues had nothing to do with the recall but I would need a diagnostic test to determine what was wrong with my car and the cost would be approximatley $120.00, so I agreed. Then that day I was told I needed to replace my ignition cylinder replaced and it would be approximately $500.00, I declined and said I would pick my car up. So today (8/3/16) I came to picked up my car and came thru the service center again with my daughter this time. When I walked in NOONE acknowledged me AGAIN or asked me if I needed help AGAIN. The service reps were in there talking amongst themselves about non work related conversation and never acknowledge I was there until I said..."Is this the service center" then a rep said some one will be with you in a moment and then Brian Downs said, How can I help you? After he ignored me the whole time AGAIN. Brian Downs is always the first rep when I walk in the service doors (the 1st time and 2nd time I entered the Monroeville facility) and I would think he would be the first rep to greet me but he along with the other reps ignored me both times. I was asked if I needed help, finally, by him. I explained I was here to pick up my car and then paid for my diagnostic service. Another service rep got my car, pull up in front of me, got out of my car and said NOTHING to me, didn't even look at me and walked back in thru the service doors. I don't know what his problem was but he was VERY RUDE as well. I don't know what type of customer service they are giving, but I have never experienced such bad service and I would hope this isn't a racial issue because the 1st time I was there, all the other customers after me were not the same race as me. I hope you have hidden cameras in your facility so you can observe the terrible customer service yourself. I was considering purchasing a new vehicle from your facility but I would never and would never recommend anyone to purchase from the Monroeville location. More

Down to earth "sales" experience. I bought a 2002 Cadillac DTS with less than 45,000 miles on it for my girlfriend. Thought it would last her a while. Alas, it basically bombed. Frustr I bought a 2002 Cadillac DTS with less than 45,000 miles on it for my girlfriend. Thought it would last her a while. Alas, it basically bombed. Frustrated with that and a series of issues with my truck, I was facing a giant black hole of vehicular suck. Then I’m at a Kia dealership and this potato chip eating “Metal Mover” is breathing chips and cigarettes all over my face. Oy. I’ve always LOATHED the car buying experience. The sleazy salesman. The “metal movers.” The confusing number-speak and sales jargon. I’ve HATED the car buying experience so much that for most of my life I purchased used cars or trucks from friends or friends of friends. Okay, in all fairness, I’ve had some dips in the credit score department as well. That said, I just had a fantastic and unexpected experience with Philip Dallas at #1 Cochran of Monroeville that has changed my opinion of new car buying forever. Dallas actively listened. He never once tried running game on us like they did at Kia. Never once did he apply any pressure. He’s the Sales Manager and could have easily shuffled us off to one of his salesman. Dallas went out of his way to show us around. He took the time out of his busy schedule to give us all the options. No nonsense. No xx. I could go on and on but in short, my girlfriend and I feel that Dallas and #1 Cochran Buick of Monroeville deserves: a rave sales review. This experience with Dallas and #1 Cochran Buick of Monroeville just didn’t feel like I was even buying a car, much less that Dallas was selling us one. It just felt like people talking and working together on a problem. If Dallas could make my credit score work and put us in a nice car without all the cheese-ball negotiating crap – then perhaps he can dig in and work it for other car-buying skeptics/not-so-perfect people just like us. Thank you Dallas! More

The staff never fails to go above and beyond to make the transition of purchasing a new vehicle easy and enjoyable. Service is nothing short of exceptional, while Donna Donavan and Calvin Lane could not make the experience more pleasant. Due to the very custom nature of my car, there was a delay in availability, but I was compensated with additional money to spend on accouterments for my vehicle, and was given their word that no one would use my vehicle while it awaited pick-up (for test drives or other). As if that was not enough, when I went to choose accessories I was given an additional allowance. I cannot stress how accommodating and professional Donna and Calvin always are. Working with them is an incomparable experience, as there is nothing they will not try to do make your car shopping experience extraordinary. More

I have heard that purchasing a car can be a huge ordeal and that some salespeople try and rip you off. Shawn was excellent and made the process very easy and hassle free. He was very patient in answering all of my questions and had an answer for me right away. He did not try to push me towards any certain direction he just presented the facts and helped me narrow my choices down. I was very impressed by his professionalism and the way he conducted himself. I would highly recommend Shawn Smail to anyone I know and I already have quite a few times. More
