What Others Say

I purchased a Acura TLX 2018 certified in Sept 2021. I also purchased an additional warranty. Almost 4 years, my car has been in the shop more than on the road with major repairs. I was told by Rick in Finance that it the warranty was bumper to bumper. That's not true!!! It is in the shop now at Fred Anderson Acura for gearbox repair at 111,000 miles. This dealership lied about the warranty and there is no way this car should have been certified. I will have to trade this car, due to future problems will arise. The warranty companies are awful. They will deny with dealership and I would have to call to speak with someone for them to pay. I would haven you a --0.00 star if I could. Please don't buy nothing from Acura Carland in Duluth!!!!!!!! I spoke with a guy a few minutes ago, and he was rude by over talking me.. I will post this on all websites and social media. They need to be sued for awful service and lies!!!! They should gave this car away to the homeless. I WILL NEVER BUY AN ACURA AGAIN FROM GA!!!!!!!!!

Service dept over charges on service work not using the Honda Internal Service Guide for labor times. So for those unfamiliar if you take a vehicle here other than an Acura you’re going to be charged the labor time of an Acura not the Make, Model of your vehicle. Please do your research and price checking with other dealers before going here. It was a lesson learned and trust, I will not be going back for any service.

Horrible service. David charged $100+ more than the initial quote (we had pictures) due to some inexplicable additional management fee. He told us service would take 2 hours and it took 4. David insulted us when dropping the car off and scolded us when we came to pick it up and asked where it was by telling us "you must not be paying attention because it's parked right outside the door" - only to discover that it was NOT - the mechanic never brought it around and he had to go get it from behind a locked gate. FWIW, I'm 61 and not a crank. We've owned Hondas/Acuras for 35 years. This is the first bad review I've ever written. We bought our car at Acura Carland and had a good experience. My wife loves it. However, I wish I would have read the other reviews before we took our car there for service-complete disappointment.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I explicitly gave instructions to Tabiri for them not to change the brake fluid in my wife's car. The car only has 15,000 miles on it. And, yet they did it anyway. ($178 on our bill). My wife was promised that they had a special (no labor) on wiper blade replacement. And yet, for the rear wiper, they charged labor. My wife arrived early to expedite the service. But because Tabiri was not there, she sat around waiting while other service reps who could have helped her did nothing. This is not personalized service - it's a complete disregard for the value of customers' time. After 3 hours to perform what should have been minor service, my wife drove away and immediately noticed the brakes making weird sounds and being very "jerky". So, back to Acura Carland where she was told that it's because the wheel shine part of the car wash causes that. Why would anyone intentionally cause a problem with brakes like that, regardless if it's real or not? The car wash wasn't even that thorough. The total came to just under $700 for an oil change, rotate and balance, brake fluid exchange (again, explicitly instructed NOT to do), wiper blade replacement (charged labor when promised not to), wheel alignment, air filter replacement and cabin filter replacement (doubt this was necessary for 15,000 miles). All in all, it was a 4-hour nightmare. We will never ever use this service department and strongly recommend no one else does either. The only bright side was Kelly, the service rep who ended up helping my wife. She was helpful.

We worked with Isaias Mercedes. I knew what I wanted but was having a hard time finding one without the current Recall. We live about two hours away, so most of my initial contact was thru email and text. He was responsive and very knowledagable about the vehicle and it's specs. Finance was no pressure. Purchasing was a breeze.

I had a problem with windows rolling down on their own. Turns out someone jammed the door lock trying to brake in. This dealership quoted a new lock at around 400.00. When they returned the car there was as two manual keys for the lock not the keys that are in the fobs. I returned the car and the service manager agreed this was not a good solution. He agreed to supply two keys that would fit in the fobs but informed me that they would not work in the glove box. The solution they came up with was another lock and two more new keys at an additional 500.00 dollars. So they misinformed me about the initial repair and took my money for half the job. I am now with a vehicle that does not have a functioning locking system and no where to turn to get this repaired properly. These guys take no responsibility or ownership for their mistakes. Stay far away from this dealership.
