Went to look at a used Saab. Friendly sales people, a little pushy but not out of the ordinary. Got to talking numbers on the car, and they refused to budge off their 'already very good' price, which was some $2k more than the value indicated by the big 3 valuation websites (edmunds, kbb, nada). Then, they look at my trade in, and made a down right insulting offer on it ($3500 less than the big 3 valuation), and refused to budge. In addition, I was told that one of the vehicles I wanted to look at was already sold. Here it is a week later, and of course, that vehicle is still on the lot. This dealer looks like they're hoping for uneducated consumers to walk in the door, be fed a line, and fall for their sales tactics. Don't go looking for even an average deal here, there isn't one to be had.

After careful consideration of SUV offerings on the market and a current Saab 9-3 driver I found a Saab9-7x at Patrick Saab in Auburn. The vehicle had extremely low mileage and was in immaculate condition. The salesperson who assisted me was extremely courteous and professional during the sales process. I had been researching a used vehicle purchase on the web and stumbled upon Patrick Volkswagen Saab. I had owned both types of vehicles in the past and it was the ability to test drive both a Saab and VW at one location that compelled me to give Patrick a try. I traded a Saab 9-3 with the expectation of getting into a newer 9-5 wagon. The Saab wagon I test drove did not have all the features I wanted and I ended up in a used Passat wagon.
